The museum is in a surprisingly nice garden and the whole exhibition is surprisingly good. Lot of info about the 19th and 20th century's France-Vietnam relations, colonial prisons, old photos of Saigon and Vietnamese countryside, etc.
The museum has a very good restaurant, with Minestrone, beef Wellington and croque Madame on the menu. I don't know if they really have all these food but the passion fruit juice and the orange-carrott juice were very good.
Small but important detail, especially for women: the restaurant's toilet is very good, much better than the museum's - has toilet paper, soap, water. If you need to use the restroom, go to the restaurant.
Restaurant has AC and good WiFi.
