What travelers are saying
- URP70Hyderabad, India75 contributionsLoved my stay here inside heritage building. Morning walk and after dinner walks were relaxing. Great location to reach any place in Delhi. Pleasing to eyes with greenery all around. Safe for single women travelers and children too. Children have lot of place to run around and play. Lot of selfie friendly locations.Written November 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- C KrishnanChennai District, India33 contributionsThe location and layout/atmosphere of India International Centre (IIC) are excellent. There is lush greenery in the campus and the food and service are also very good. However, the facilities require an upgrade. The rooms are small and adequate but need better equipment and facilities. The beautiful water bodies and fountains also need to be better maintained.Written October 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jayaraman2016New Delhi, India96 contributionsWe visited Pragati Maidan, where the World Book Fair 2024 was held recently. It was nice to visit Book Fair in this new layout of Pragati Maidan. Unlike my earlier visits few years ago, it was a great experience this year to see an enormous response with several young readers even during the midweek in a well-organized Fair spanning five halls. In this internet age, it was heartening to look for books on wide range of topics in addition to classics in various stalls of different publishers. In one hall, we had an opportunity to listen to a presentation by a writer in the form of dialogue with a publisher. While sharing his personal experience, the writer revealed how through his persistent efforts for years made him one of the Internationally recognized authors. There was a separate stall for kids with comic books where even older people got attracted. In addition, there were cultural programs to entertain the visitors. There was a common food court outside one of the halls. One day was not enough to spend time in this Book Fair.Written February 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
