What travelers are saying
- Georgi Y3 contributionsWe visited Naples with my spouse (both 48 years old) and another couple in their 60. It's a bit bored but was nice to leave Chicago during the winter. Unfortunately, was way too cold for us during that time of the year. The temperature was 52-55 in the morning and 65-67 during the days with wind. We didn't have a chance to go to the beach. We visited downtown Naples, couple coffee shops and outdoor malls. It wasn't bad for 3-4 days, but a week would be too much.Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BATMAN & CATWOMANLong Island, NY2,865 contributionsThe Village Shops on Venetian Bay offers a variety of different shopping experiences. There are several awesome choices for Lunch or Dinner. There are two sides to the Shoppes and you can walk thru the tunnel to go to either side. Spend a couple hours and enjoy the water views. There is both Valet and center parking available.Written February 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - peanut31Lincolnshire, UK472 contributionsSome people have, and may find this store too political.
I would advise to put that aside and just visit for the produce on offer.
Coming from the UK we don’t have this kind of store on such a vast scale.
Plenty of choices, some good gluten free products. Everything you need under one roof.
We had some food in the restaurant, and they were able to accommodate my gluten intolerance. Whilst there a live band was playing.
Just be aware , the car park is too small for the amount of visitors, you may struggle to find a car parking space.Written February 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert Porter L1 contributionWhether you are an ardent lover of art, or just fond of browsing galleries, you will quickly realize why East-West Fine Art is becoming a destination for visitors and locals alike. I visited both galleries (there are two, one in the Mercado, the other on 5th Ave.), and was enthralled.
Art in their galleries is far more than the “eye candy” of “pretty paintings” one sees so often; it’s really fine art from some truly renowned artists from America and Europe.
Both galleries are warm and inviting; their unique personalities are quickly evident. Operated by a mother and daughter partnership, Olga and Leeza Arkhangelskaya have created a charming, warm feeling as soon as I entered. Olga is often found in the Mercado, and Leeza in their downtown on 5th Avenue gallery. Leeza is energetic and wonderfully hospitable. Olga is charming, soulful, almost ethereal. Both see their galleries as more than just a place for art exhibition, but as a community gathering place for people who love and appreciate good art.
While you can certainly browse their galleries in quietude, I quickly learned these two delightful ladies are great teachers too. I would ask a question, and their responses were both erudite and enlightening. They can talk about the soul of the artist, the deep meaning symbolized, and the artist’s inspiration of the painting. They know and represent their artists in the most insightful ways, and love to engage with visitors. Don’t miss this treasure if you are in Naples.Written September 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The market can get very busy as the day goes on, especially during peak season. Several of the booths had run out of product; so I would recommend getting there early. Due to the location, the prices are a little higher than elsewhere but the product seems to be of good quality at the majority of the booths.Written February 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The gallery put in a man show show and displayed allot of Rons art. The place was pristine and Emily who I think runs the gallery was super friendly and informative. The show itself was great as Ron animated the old Beatles cartoon show that was on TV back in the 60s. Check this place out. Great people and great art.Written May 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Scott BGrosse Pointe, Michigan4 contributionsWhat a wonderous place of great inspiration, a quiet, hidden gem that screams with local artistic talent!
Visit early, you can get 'lost' here, for hours.
Bring your wallet or purse, there are many good deals to be found amongst the incredible art. I have taken many pieces home (here in Naples and in Grosse Pointe, MI).
One of the volunteers/artists helped me find a viable shipper, and my pieces arrived safe, fast and without blemish!
