I was treated by a very nice lady when I walked in. The art was very cool I really liked the Artist that depicted bright colors and hippy type scenes. Asian name but cannot remember. Lots of very cool carved surf board art etc. worth stopping in.

I was expecting a farmer's market with lots of local fruit and veggie vendors. I didn't really find that as there was only one fruit vendor but was pleasantly surprised with the other vendors. My friends and I each had a different drink from a different vendor and all four were so good: fresh-squeezed juice, the most beautiful fruit tea I have ever seen, and a calming health juice. Also purchased some kava extract, puzzles, pasta, and sampled probably close to 20 jams/spreads. It was also located in Waimea Valley which is one of my favorite spots on the North Shore!

I wish I had arrived last Saturday, because I could have done some of my grocery shopping for the week at this little local farmers market. There is a genre at jeweler from whom I bought several gifts for friends and family, because the earrings were so cute and the prices were so great. There was also a photographer with a wide selection of prints to choose, also priced reasonably. There were a few actual producer dealers, a driftwood artist and a double handful of other options. So glad we stopped by.

Anchored by the iconic Matsumoro's Store, this shopping area has several small, "mom and pop" style stores offering, clothing, souvenirs, jewlery, coffee, groceries and more.

Fantastic Hawaiian Shave Ice and friendly owner ! At Matsumoto’s down the street, everyone stands in long lines. The General Store is better. Come down here instead.

Best surf school possibly in the world! Seven, (yes that’s our instructor’s name) was a really great teacher, I am now not even a little bit scared of the waves. Many beach options. Will come back! Seven, is probably the best surf teacher in the world! 🌊🏄

Visited Pakaloha in Feb and had the best experience purchasing a red bikini top and bottom
Danyellecedar15 was super professional and at the same time made me feel comfortable enough to come out of the fitting room to ask for suggestions
She went above and beyond to help me find the perfect fitting bikin and continued to show me all the different ways I could wear the top
    I’m a huge fan
Definitely will be coming back and will order online as well

Of course, on the one day that we rented a convertible, it rained all day. We made our way up from Honolulu via the Dole Plantation. It’s not a long drive, we wanted to see the North Shore and in fact there were Surfing Championships going on. The Macadamia Nut Company itself is just a turn off the main highway (well, actually just about everything is just off the highway due to the rugged volcanic environment). We arrived in the muddy parking lot to see this wooden building chocked full of pictures, antiques and the story of the family that owned this plantation as well as photographs of the sugar cane factory located in the area. You get a little free sample of their coffees if you like and samples of their nut products. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the time we spent here.

I am now a convert to Soap Cellar bar soap!

The Hanalei Bar and the P.A.L. bar came home with me - I wish I had purchased more. These soaps are made with olive, coconut and palm oils, with kukui and macadamia nut oils and seed extracts-which became creamy when wet, a true skin softener.

The clerk passed a couple of small samples to us-when I used them after an ocean swim my skin was so happy! I used the pieces as shampoo and was enveloped with island fragrance throughout the day.

The outstanding feature of Soap Cellar bars is their creaminess - your skin will thank you!

A small store packed full of soaps, lotions, and lovely jewellery. Lots of gift items with a touch of original design.

    We will return.
