What travelers are saying
- Diane SFairfax Station, VA101 contributionsThe views are always breathtaking here. This visit was a bit rainy so it was pleasantly empty. Although it can be crowded, it is always fun to watch rock climbers and kayakers on the white water in season. Many of the trails provide a more private, wooded reprieve.Written January 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RaF CColijnsplaat, The Netherlands323 contributionsBig and Nice mall, but not so many restrooms and hard to find. It is a clean safe mall with nice shops and food.Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassie12 contributionsWow, what a fun park for my 1.5 year old. Everything is usually so large and stressful for us with the little one at jungle gyms, but she was running around and around loving all of the many options all over the park for her!Written May 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ruby RedGreensburg, PA661 contributionsGreat shopping experience! My daughter and I were excited to shop at this Mall and we were not disappointed. There are many luxury brands available to shop; Chanel, Louie Vuitton, St Laurent, Dior, Burberry to name a few. We enjoyed our day browsing and buying! We had dinner at one of the restaurants conveniently located at the Mall. Also, parking seemed plentiful although we were able to walk to the mall because we stayed at a nearby hotel. All in all a fun day of shopping. Oh, one more thing! All shops had great sales associates who provided positive customer service.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Diane SFairfax Station, VA101 contributionsThis is a great place to hike, with wooded trails and great views of the Potomac River and a small waterfall. Limited parking keeps the crowds down.Written January 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Taylor BChicago, IL8,761 contributionsOver the last 40 years, my wife and I have hiked parts of the Potomac Heritage Trail during our vacation travels in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The Potomac Heritage Trail, or Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail or the PHT, is a 710-mile network of trails that connect various trails and historic sites in the mid-Atlantic and upper southeastern regions of the United States. Officially designated as a National Scenic Trail in 1983, it also traces the outstanding natural, historical and cultural features of the Potomac River corridor, the upper Ohio River watershed in Pennsylvania and western Maryland and a portion of the Rappahannock River watershed in Virginia. Unlike many long-distance hiking trails such as the Appalachian Trail, the PHT is a general rout with numerous side trails and alternatives. In fact, the PHT crosses the Appalachian Trail near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and coincides with the American Discovery Trail along the portion of the C&O Canal Towpath between Oldtown, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Parts of the PHT that we have experienced are the 18.5-mile Mount Vernon Trail in Arlington County, Virginia, the 23-mile Alexandria Heritage Trail in Alexandria, Virginia, the 184.5-mile Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath within the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park in Maryland, the 23-mile Fort Circle Parks Trail in Washington, D.C., and the 9.6-mile PHT along the Potomac River within the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Virginia.Written December 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - pbaccash26Philadelphia, PA134 contributionsThe Church is Beautiful and Colorful. The Parishioners are very friendly and welcoming. The Sermon was upbeat and about Miracles.Written July 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- mvidroWashington DC, DC435 contributionsThis was my second visit to the Community Center's performing arts program. Last year, we saw the traveling American Shakespeare Center's powerful "Electra". This year we saw "Imogen" (reworking Shakespeare's "Cymbeline").
Tickets are easy to get and very reasonably priced. Seats are comfortable and the American Shakespeare Center's performers sang pre performance and during the intermission -- most enjoyable.Written October 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were there on a very rainy day. Half of the soccer field was pooling and sloshy. Still a very nice park. No bathrooms - well there are portapotties.Written October 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- csserious2Chantilly, VA853 contributionsFort Marcy is located in the northern segment of the beautiful GW Parkway that runs south all the way to Washington’s home. Hiking trail, picnic spots, views of Potomac and civil war era history are offered by the fort. Certainly a place to explore on a beautiful day if one has some leisure moments. As you drive south past the arteries that connect DC with Virginia, there are other beautiful spots to enjoy, including picnic area, hiking and biking. There is not much spotlight on those spots in tourist literature, hence they would be surprise finds.Written October 31, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
