This was a great place for our event. All the kids that came had a great time playing in the pool and on the obstacle course. It was perfect for families of all ages. Mike and his team had everything we needed, we were able to bring in our own food, and our party went off without a hitch. It was really easy to set everything up ahead of time, the staff was very supportive while we were there, and it went as smoothly as any event I've done like this.

Great place to practice and set up your yardages. Bring your own targets and a hat for the summer months, pretty warm. Well kept and ample area to shoot.

Something for everyone! Grassy areas for kids to run and play; picnic tables for lunch or snacks; basketball courts (check out a basketball or bring your own); and two levels of playgrounds, one for smaller sweeties and one for older kids. There are swings and tetherball, foosball and four square.

    Something for everyone.

Tennis courts are next door but even if you don’t have a partner, you can practice on the rec center’s backboards.

There are also organized classes such as yoga and dance in the rec center building. Exercise equipment is inside as well.

    Parking is on the street.

    Enjoy!

I was here to watch a Fresno State-San Diego State football game, and found it to be a terrific modern stadium. Entry was very easy, and the atmosphere is really cool, with lots of open space, nice landscaping, and a ton of different food and drink options.

Taking the trolley from downtown was easy, though the return train took a while to arrive. Even so, it was much more convenient and cheaper than driving. Overall, it's a huge upgrade over the old Jack Murphy Stadium.

I went to watch the San Diego Legion Rugby team in the playoffs against the Rugby United New York team. The USD Torero Stadium is a perfect place for the San Diego Legion to play. I had Parking at the Mission Parking Structure across from the stadium. As you enter the Stadium above the seating area outside of the beautiful Jenny Graig Pavilion, there are many vendors in booths selling Food, Drinks, and Souvenir items. The 6,000 person seating areas in the Torero Stadium is just the right size for the San Diego Legion Rugby Team crowd. On one side of the stadium they have Plastic individual chair seats. On the end zone and other side of the stadium they just have hard concrete bench seats, so bring a pad to sit on. Also its hard to sit on the visitor side which is the VIP seating ? Because you have to walk all the over to the other side of the field to see the wide variety of Food and Drink items and to go to the bathroom.

We had a 5:30 tee time and sun set around 6:30. We could have finished but there was so much of a back up of people that it just wasn’t going to happen. The staff there is great to a new comer. We are from out of town and it was helpful to have people point you in the right direction. Major complaint is just crowded, we were lucky to get a parking spot for someone leaving when we got there. The tee times this late in the day have little to no chance of finishing a round. I know COVID probably doesn’t help but this is a scenario built for the locals. Super nice set up, nice maintained landscape compared to Washington state courses. It’s a tight course so watch your head because holes play back on each other. Worth the one time experience.
