Amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the powerful of Mother Nature and to see a lot of wildlife around it ( pelicans, seals, birds and of course crabs and fishes)
And land animals, great shoreline and cliffs the you can explore and see ( make sure you have a good grip shoes and safety first )
    You will not be disappointed

Friends told us about this place - and where to find some parking! It is an absolute find of a short hike. You go through the native grass/bushes for a bit and then pop out to the edge of the cliffs north of La Jolla. Amazing and spectacular views both up and down the coastline. Since it is not far south of the Gliderport, you often see the pilots come over as well. Some amazing houses and mansions are in view! The trail is a circle so you don't really have to repeat anything either. Not to be missed!

Nice peaceful park between the USS Midway and Seaport Village. Although I would not make a special trip here as a visitor, it was nice to walk along the harbor and see the unique outdoor modern tree themed sculptures overlooking the bay.

"Fish Tree" by Ben Pingot and Toby Flores cast the most interesting shadows. "Orange Tree" by Guy and Ellen Mayenobe was a simple interpretation of letters upside down and right side up spelling out "TREE" at the right angle. "A Different But Loving Pair" by Cecilia Stanford is so whimsical. For more information, text FISH or ORANGE to 53137 according to the plaques on the base of the artwork.

The hike itself was the right amount of difficult and took about 2.5 hours round trip. To get to the trailhead you really need a 4x4. The roads have large potholes sometimes causing your car to bottom out. The waterfalls at the end of the hike we’re pretty but not mind blowing and allowed for swimming at the bottom. Do bring plenty of water as there is little to no shade and lunch or a snack to eat on the rock when you arrive at the falls.

Great experience. I was so relaxed I slept. I wish the water was a little warmer but it still was warm enough. Towels and shower provided. Staff friendly. Clean environment. Please give this review a helpful vote.
