Extremely beautiful place that holds many tales. Perfect for couples or group of friends. The terrain might be a bit tricky, so kids and elderly have to be careful. Recommend coming in good time to get a good place of the view. In high season the place is packed at sunset and parking options are terrible.

A taste of the real Ibiza. Visiting the old town is time well spent with historic buildings, picturesque views and lovely bars /restaurants.
So glad we went and found this memorable place!

We could see this castle from the port and from our ferry. It's up on the hill up above the old town and port, in a strategic location to guard the entrance to the island. Worth a look.

One word ‘Eclectic’. We came across this village based on recommendation from the car hire company. We were so glad we did. Spent a few hours and a few euros in the many and varied shops here. With everything from homewares, woollen goods and locally made products.
The church is lovely and the place has a nice charm. Worth a visit rather than some of the hippy markets which have many of the same products at high prices.

Beautiful beach. A lot of jellyfish washed up on the beach. Many restaurants nearby and bathrooms available on the beach. Also many parking spots nearby.

We left and returned to this port on our trip to Formentera and everything functioned very well. Lots of people around and the traffic flowed smoothly. Lots of cabs for our ride to the airport. Easy drop-off from our cab. The cruise ships can cause some congestion, but this port can handle.

At the top of the hill looking over the town and harbour is this beautiful Cathedral. It’s quite stunning inside and very well looked after. Outside has stunning views out to sea making it well worth the effort of climbing the hill.

This is the world’s largest and best-preserved necropolis, which was the Ibiza Town cemetery.

The original cemetery was founded around the end of the 7th century B.C. by the Phoenicians.

Of all the beaches, this is the easiest to find the gays. While the beach is mixed, if you go to the right (looking at the sea from Chiringay). The walk from the parking lot is a bit of a trek, but it is a lovely beach. For the gays, the dunes are "active" for meeting friends.

We called in to this beach cove as we were exploring the north coast and it was really pretty, with turquoise seas and plenty of opportunity for swimming and sunbathing. There is also a small bar/restaurant there. The partially built and abandoned hotel was fascinating to look around, if a little dangerous in places. Another reviewer has explained the history which I was unaware of before we visited. Some may see this as an eye-sore - it will be something you either love or hate. Worth popping in - you can park on the road just above or you can drive down the bumpy road if you are fairly confident on rough hilly tracks and have a semi decent car.

Towers were built on the island as watch posts to look out for pirate invasions. Not sure how successful they were because Ibiza was long the victim of marauding pirates on the Sea. This one is right on the beach.
