It is a kind of adventure to walk across the bridge. Taxi drivers tell you it is not possible (they want to sell a ride). Locals shrug their shoulders when you ask.The foot paths are rather narrow and sometimes there are obstacles (easy to circumvent). Bring your passport as on both sides it was checked. I did not feel a lot of friendship between Bulgaria and Romania.

From the center of Ruse to the bus station in Giurgiu it is 14 km. An easy walk with a splendid view over the Danube.

The Clock Tower (or Le Tour de l'Horloge, was built by the Turks during the Ottoman occupation as an elevated place to look out for fires or approaching enemies. Located on Union Square, another point of importance is that, based on the city plans of architect Moritz von Otto, there is a radial network of streets that is centered at the tower. Underneath the tower starts another group of radial tunnels reaching under the city and, at least in one direction, all the way to the Danube river. The clock was added to the tower much later, well after the departure of the Turks. Today, the Clock Tower is a symbol of the city, the pride of its citizens and it has been added to the city's coat of arms. Over the centuries, the tower has required restorations and remodelings, the most recent having been performed in 2007. The Tower also serves as a place for exhibits and shows.

I am not a fan of firearms or a guy with violent behavior.
But the feeling using a real weapon can not be described by words. Especially in Romania whre fire guns are forbidden you can not practice this sport in many locations without license. It is one time life experience.
In this shooting range you may use all the guns you saw in the army/movies:pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, snipers.... All the calibers. Adrenaline to the maximum.
