Ordesa is fabulous, there are many hiking trails but the one I can reccomend is Clavijas de Cotatuero. Perhaps the first half is a bit monotonous leading through an old forest but the views from the top are just outrageous!

This trail is closed in winter season- check accessibility before you go. Trust me you want to reach the top vewing point for the Ordesa views - the hike and mountain landscape are unreal! From there you can continue hiking but it will be pure rock climbing, so more experience is needed. Check my full post and photos ;))) you will definitely want to go! ;) Went December 2023 - all trails were opened and there was almost no snow - unusual?

We loved the variety of the terrain and walks. The forests are superb and the cow pastures plus waterfalls are just to die for. Great destination.

From the visitor centre in Torla to the artificial lakes with abandoned villages and the river itself this is a beautiful destination which I highly recommend. Last and not least the people are incredibly welcoming.

This trail is beautiful from the beginning to the end. I recommend to do the hardest part first as it implies a couple of hours of constant hike gaining elevation over a steep trail. The good thing is that is a zig-zag trail and a decent angle of ascension. Our dog had no trouble with it (medium size -strong- dog) in case you want to bring your pet. The rest of the trail was easier with stunning views every where you look. I highly recommend it, but start The ascension early (Not later than 10am) so you return still with light (depending on the time of the year) back to the parking area.

Great canyoning tour with our family of 4 (including two children aged 8 and 5). Active and enthousiastic English speaking guide. Beautiful canyon; exciting jumps from 2 till 8 meters! After this a rappel of 12m; which was too much for the youngest but no problem since this part is easily by passed by a bridge.

The best adventure trip on the Pirineos. You Depart fron Torla or you are picked up from your hotel and in a four hours travel, you gop from the 4 steps of vegetation, the fauna, and the history of the valley and his people over the jasta two thousand years. You can see, birds, animals, water falls and all kind of changes that nature has developped over the millenails. Erosion stones, 22 mountains with more than 3000 meters tall and and enourmus amount of tales and details are presented in spanish and english language. Joreg our guide is one of the best. There is very much worth the 35 euros cost of the activity. Good for children, avalilable for aged people ( not everywhere, but yes for the general view of the valley). Need to repeat in a while with family and friends.
