A nice church, probably the most interesting thing to be visited in Fidenza. The exterior is quite complex, with a beautiful facade and interesting architecture. The interior is simpler but with a beautiful crypt.

It’s pretty cheaper than Milan but not as you expect about 20 % -30% cheaper than the stores in the city
The Italians brands are expensive in any occasion
First of all I went to Fidenza village from milan with train . you must know the time of your arrival if you take the train because there is a bus from the bus station to the village
    It’s about 4 km
You must try the Lindt ice-cream 😋
Don’t forget to fil the tax free application
The stores are very good almost every brand you want but not cheap as you expect

We came ti Fidenza just to visit the beautiful Teatro Magnani. They were very friendly, for us they put on the lighting in the theater. They even showed us the small concert hall - all with very attractive decoration of Girolami Magnani.

At Commanderia del Gusto, they offer a lovely B & B, wine tastings, and a cooking school. Our tour group visited Commanderia del Gusto to learn how to make three different types of pasta. In this lovely rural mountainous setting, we were warmly welcomed by the proprietors. Our instructor was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He did not speak English very well, but our tour guide did an excellent of translating his step by step instructions. We later enjoyed the fruits of our labor with wine and appetizers, an experience I will long remember. We are already talking about returning! I suggest you go to info@commanderiadelgusto.it for more information.

The best way to approach San Tomasso Becket in Cabriolo is on foot, on the Via Francigena. Walk out of the city on the Via Caduti di Cefalonia, and look out for the pretty tree-lined path through the fields to the left. This finishes with a brief climb up to the church. This was originally a chapel of the Knights Templar, and is dedicated to St Thomas Becket of Canterbury who was assassinated in 1170. When we visited this peaceful little church was decorated for a wedding; it has many interesting features including ancient murals.

As usual, attached to the cathedral there is this small museum with religious artifacts. We were the only visitors.

In such a little city you still find very nice old City Hall. The facade is on both side of the building, but the main one is on the big square. It is really very impressive.
