- GOG69Bedford, UK229 contributionsWe found the area full of life a great place for the famous selfie with the famous bridge in the background. The area is also a good place for restaurants with many down the beautiful side streets.Written September 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GOG69Bedford, UK229 contributionsAfter walking through the centre on the Saturday market we were greeted with the magnificent ancient entrance to the ancient town of Rimini. How it’s still standing is amazing. I imagined approaching this for the first time when it was first built and how people would be impressed by the size.Written September 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason SMelbourne, Australia1,693 contributionsReally nice Piazza, that is full of history and atmosphere.
Square is surrounded by beautifully detailed architectural building with several restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
Also several monuments to see with main one being of Pope Paul V.
You should definitely make your way through this piazza, love these types of squares through Italy and Europe.Written August 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alessandro FMilan, Italy26,346 contributionsBeautiful unfinished cathedral built in 1447 under Lordship of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta (1417-1468)
He wanted to build this cathedral for his burial and for his family , a monument celebrating his lineage. Malatesta had the chapels inside the church adorned with countless pagan works (hence the name temple) which made him argue with Pope Pius II Piccolomini with the subsequent excommunication he received in 1460.
The facade was designed by Leon Battista Alberti (1404-1472)
The internal with one nave and several lateral chapels is full of statues and a beautiful paint made by Piero della Francesca (1412-1492) depicting Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta praying in front Saint Sigismondo
Finally you can admire the magnificent Holy Cross made by Giotto (1267-1337)Written November 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not as upscale as some coastal resorts but something for everybody here and it can be done without breaking the bank. Can be seasonal at some hotels and shops.Written October 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Our 4 years old daughter really liked this place. There are only some attraction which is forbidden for a 4 years old. She really liked the roller coasters! :)Written August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The mosaics themselves justify the visit, but if you take the time to visit the archeological section of the city museum, you will see reconstitutions of the surgeons' office and examination rooms.
When visiting the ruins, take the audio guide: it does add a lot of useful information about the site and what was discovered.Written April 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
