This cathedral is on a hill in the city centre. It is very beautiful inside and outside. It is very nicely decorated, not over the topWritten March 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is such a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with Mies's understanding of space. We went on a 90-minute tour with a guide (if you are not a hard-core architecture buff, you may want to consider the shorter option). Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and spoke good English. Can't recommend it strongly enough!Written June 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peggy MStornoway, UK152 contributionsWalked through the park and climbed up to this castle and walked round the garderns and through some areas of the castle.Lovely views from different areas in the gardens but visibility was poor as damp cold day.The paths were covered in leaves and wet so slippery as you went through the park, but it was Autumn.Written December 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dusan H5 contributionsVery nice attraction with a great guide. Highly recommend. You can also accomodate here, but that seemed to us a bit too scary. 😃Written September 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GrogSeattle, WA4 contributionsIf you plan to swim, be sure to check signs that indicate the level of bacteria in the water. It was at safe levels this time! We even went without a phone and it was so easy to navigate to from Brno city center. Just so nice to relax in the sun.Written August 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sheri m13 contributionsFascinating museum, very well done. Great place to visit with kids or with anyone interested in technology. The museum is a brief and inexpensive tram ride from the city center. Loved the car and music exhibits. Don't miss the hands on exhibits on the third floor.Written May 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dusan H5 contributionsExposition is great. The place is dirty. They should take more care of it. When you want to go to a bar, you have to find a clean table.Written August 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary Jo RRio de Janeiro, RJ3 contributionsThis was not originally on my to-do list. I happened upon a listing for it, which piqued my interest. The museum is not on the main square, so you do have to walk a bit to get there, but I am so glad that I went. I am from North America, where most of my knowledge was from movies, so almost everything in the museum was new to me. I learned so much and am glad I went to the museum. I was given the opportunity to view the rooms using an audio presentation of a book with the same information. I was also able to pick English as my language for either the audio or the book. I spent roughly 1.5 hours going through the museum. I left with an admiration for the Romani and their struggles. I would encourage everyone to visit the Museum of Romani Culture. If I come back to Brno, I will definitely be going for another visit.Written January 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SamUlaanbaatar, Mongolia12,110 contributionsProbably the biggest and main square in the city. Beautiful buildings around and also the church can be seen. - UGM_BRNOBrno, Czech Republic3,357 contributionsThe Brno observatory followed its lucky star and decided to promote planets and other universal objects in the way undestandable to everyone, via models. The event is named the Festival of planets no matter there is also the model of Moon. People of any age come and discover the beauty of the Earth both in day and at night, the planet Mars and the closest star the Sun. Apart the big balls navigating you to the planetarium you will find out the crashed unidentified flying object, realm of nembulae, chance to see a film in the open air cinema. Festive days in summer are fantastic, but do not worry if you plan to come in winter, there is always something thrilling, new and interesting. Just go and discover the macrocosmos and find yourself. Take your friends with you, the more, the merrier.Written August 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - owlbeonholidayWorcester, UK866 contributionsSecond biggest ossury after the one near Prague but it's actually pretty small. Takes all of 10 minutes to see so it's not great value time wise. But it is important history wise and there are some lovely works of art alongside the bones. Plus it has been very well restored and there is accompanied music by local composers which is a nice touch. Don't be put off by the surrounding construction, it's still worth a visit.Written November 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
