What travelers are saying
- MDOGPDallas, TX1,131 contributionsThis beach is just 7 minutes from Downtown Suances. It is just a beautiful place to spend the day. It has magnificent views, with beautiful rocks, and cliffs. It is a very popular place for surfers and swimmers. The sunset is just amazing!!
I prefer this beach than the Concha, the water is cleaner and the place is wilder.Written July 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelcookiecatGermany549 contributionsThe water was too cold at the end of September, so we could only enjoy the sun and beautiful views – the islands, which one can see in front are called Rabbit islands. The sand and the water were clean. Many restaurants, many surfers.
La Concha beach is enclosed from one side by a long estuary, which is a perfect area for walking or riding a bicycle. Picturesque green landscapes, lots of birds, a warm pleasant smell of the grass and flowers.Written June 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, I couldn’t understand, why the ground around was covered with trash:(.
But the views are breathtaking.
The picturesque cliff La Roca Blanca lies directly near the lighthouse and I do recommend visiting it. Indescribable colours (see photos)… Just put the most convenient shoes on and try not to disturb different species living there:).Written June 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can also go for a walk around the port and La Ribera neighbourhood. If you have time and love walking, you can take the Ribera/Besaya trail.Written June 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. 'Gorros off' to the Ayuntamiento de Suances for this pool. It is incredible value - E1.50 for adults, E0.50 for under 10s. There's a 25m unheated outdoor pool with a small children's pool as well. It's surrounded by grass areas and there's a little shade near the walls behind the pools. There're changing rooms, showers and toilets in a sleek building (even if it's getting a bit worn around the edges). There's also a lifeguard. Swimming hats (gorros) must be worn but are available from the entry kiosk (E2). The views over Suances are incredible. Open 1230-2000. It was quite empty on a Sunday but filled up on a Monday. We had a great time there and went back another day. There's also a couple of tennis courts that can be hired for E1/hour.Written August 14, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MDOGPDallas, TX1,131 contributionsThis beach is very close to Los Locos beach. If you drive from Suances, you just need to take a left towards Tagle. You can also walk; it is just 15 minutes from Los Locos.
The beach is very rocky and has huge waves.
The beach has a nice viewpoint.Written June 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can visit the chapel on Saturdays between 8.30 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. and Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
The chapel is similar to the Imperial chapel of Biarritz.Written July 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
