best , easiest public transportation from s ocean drive and hallandale blvd
I would also concur with others who recommend a taxi.
Once you are there, I would ask at the desk what they would
suggest for getting back. If you spending more time
downtown after the museum, there is a circulator bus.
Enjoy!
Definetly a taxi ride. I would not be able to give you the buses that run there but you will probably need to change lines.
I am not familiar with that area. Sad to say, Miami does not offer good public transportation.
I understand there is a bus that goes through Biscayne Boulevard and ends in Downtown Miami.
If you are in Downtown Miami take the free public transportation and enjoy the ride!
taxi- best fastest but expensive
Taxi-best fastest way - a bit pricey
A taxi from s ocean drive would be about $22....and take about 15-20 minutes. Otherwise you will be taking a bus or two and it will take at least an hour if not longer. If you choose bus's than go to miamidade.gov/transit/routes.asp and read the bus routes and where they go. Enjoy your visit!
Google the museum for all public transportation. I took a cab so I don't know the answer. Rental cars in Florida are not that expensive. You could probably see more with your own car.
I took cabs from south beach to get to the museum and then took the free trolley to go to the design district.

I really don't take public transportation while in Miami. The Perez Art Museum is Downtown, so I'm assuming that you would take a bus off of Biscayne Blvd. It will be a long bus ride though. I would do a search, or if it were me I would probably rent a car. Enjoy your visit.
