This was superb. The views! The food! I know in santorini the views are amazing almost everywhere but my heart here was full. We had such a romantic time...I cant believe anyone would have a less than a perfect experience on a location like this. We went to the beach that has its wonderful dark sand and just soaked it all in. The sea was perfect but i much rather dipped in a tub at the hotel :)

This was the most exceptional experience that we've ever had as a couple and we have stayed in Shangri-La's in other destinations. Georgia was a dream to have managing the suites, she was attentive and went out of her way to be helpful. She was thoughtful, honest, had a great sense of humor and knew what were looking for. She gave us excellent advice and helped us curate the best experience in Santorini. The hotel itself was worth the money - the views through the glassed in balconies and breakfast on the patio are something that we will remember for our lifetime. Georgie helped us find excellent authentic restaurants, directed us to vistas to see amazing sunsets and booked us an exceptional catamaran sunset cruise. We would go back here in a heartbeat. Thank you again for all that you did for us! Alysha (ALIKI) and Steven We actually went in October 2022.

Exceptional stay at Alti the staff especially MeMe went beyond and above to look after us during our stay, view is amazing. Breakfast delivered to your balcony every morning at your chosen time. We eat in the shared space one evening again food was excellent. We had a deck suite it was clean with fresh towels twice a day, a bottle of wine and fresh fruit bowl on arrival. The village of Megalochori is an about 10 mins walk however no paths , so we used the track used by the locals and you will need suitable foot wear, as very uneven. I cannot express how much I enjoyed our time in Santorini it’s a stunning island and we definitely being go back

30th wedding anniversary holiday. Arrived mid afternoon and was greeted by the very friendly Meme. Speedy checked in and shown to our suite, absolutely stunning views. Given a complementary bottle of wine for our stay. Breakfast has to be ordered the day before as it is delivered to your suite at your chosen time. Good selection and rather large amounts of what you order. Took us a couple of days to get right so as not to over order. Had an evening meal on the shared terrace which was very good. Room was spacious and very clean with kettle, coffee machine, fridge and safe. Had a car for a few days and there is parking in front of the suites, also there is a public car park 100 yards or so away if busy. The views were amazing and hope to return in a couple of years. Fantastic holiday.

We spent 2 nights at Alti Suites staying in the Delight suite and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We had already done 4 nights in Oia and Thira so just relaxed whilst at Alti. However there is a bus stop right outside so it is fairly easy to get about the island too, and the staff are very helpful in booking transport. The room is beautiful. The private jacuzzi is amazing and there really is no better place to enjoy the sunset! Highly recommend booking a meal to your balcony to watch the sunset from. Food was delicious and breakfast was good quality and generous in portions and variety. Staff were very welcome and helpful, thanks for a great stay!

Recently returned from a fantastic two week stay at the Alti Suites and can honestly say that if you get the opportunity to stay there then take it up. Everything about the suites is stunning. We stayed in one of the junior suites and have to say that the room was larger than it looks on the photographs on the Alti website. The room was very stylish and immaculate and was kept spotlessly clean by the hard working team. The bathroom was awesome and has a massive and brilliant shower, towels were changed daily, in fact sometimes twice a day. The bathrobes were a nice touch and it was very pleasant sat in them on the large balcony whilst having breakfast. The bed was large and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing and looked right up the caldera - very possibly the best view on the island. Perhaps the Alti's strongest attribute is the staff. The whole team are amazing, everybody was so polite, incredibly helpful, friendly and discreet They are so hard working and nothing was too much trouble, we can't thank them enough for making our stay so special. The Alti sits just outside of the village of Megalochori which is a lovely, quiet and traditional village. If you are venturing into the village there is a track that you can pick up at the far side of the Venetsanos winery. This track is away from the main road and is a much safer and more pleasant way of getting to the village. Walk along until you get to the two small churches opposite one another and turn left, it takes around fifteen minutes to complete. Cross the main road and then the re are pavements either way you go.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in this beautiful place. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was just amazing, one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. Very spacious and the most private of all the suites. The staff at the property are great and can’t do enough for you. The food and wine was delicious and the views are just incredible. Good location to get to places. You can’t really walk to anywhere, mainly due to the lack of pavements. There is a bus stop right outside the property which we used to get out most evenings, and then we got taxis back. Taxi’s are expensive. You will be looking at €25 one way to get to most places. Fira, Kamari beach, perissa Beach can all be reached within 10/12 minutes and the lovely Greek village of Megalochori is a few minutes down the road. We hired a quad bike for the day which we couldn’t recommend enough. €45 for the whole day which the hotel arranged for us. Great way to explore the island. We don’t usually tend to go back to a place we’ve already been too, but would make an exception for here. We loved Santorini and this hotel so much. Would highly recommend.

I am not sure where to start. I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to write this because the hotel and staff were just AMAZING. It was my husband and I's 13th Wedding anniversary and we stayed in the Honeymoon Suite. I had emailed the hotel in advance to enquire about the transfers from the airport to the hotel - they immediately responded and everything was organised for us. It was a hassle free process and it made our anniversary all that much smoother. When we arrived to the hotel I was a little unsure because the gem was hidden away in the side road. I was not prepared for the sheer beauty that awaited us. The check in process was fast and efficient. We selected our breakfast choice and time for the following day. We were then escorted to our room. The views were just WOW!!!. When we walked into the room there was a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. We swiftly took this out and sat watching the beautiful scenery. We were really lucky with our room as it was hidden away and had great privacy. Breakfast - They bring the breakfast to your room and you can arrange to have this outside. Of course we decided to have this outside each morning so we can soak up the wonderful view. Each morning they called us in advance to let us know our breakfast was ready and confirm we were happy for it to be brought to us. It was such a courteous thing to do. Staff - The customer service was impeccable. From the front desk manager to the ground keepers. They were all so lovely and polite. We hadn't really organised any activities or transport and when we arrived they did this all for us. We were so grateful. One of the best trips was the sunset cruise. I am sooo glad we did this. It was so much fun and just so romantic watching the sun set, whilst drinking a glass of wine, hand in hand with my husband. That is a memory that will stay with me forever. Weather - it was slightly chilly so we had jumpers but it did get really hot throughout the day. Just bare that in mind if you book in April. Transport - the hotel is outside of Oia and Fira so I would advise hiring a car otherwise it can be expensive if you book a taxi. We did go to visit Oia and Fira both of which are stunning places especially Oia. I would recommend getting to Oia to see the views quite early as it can be quite busy. We were really happy with the location of our hotel as it was lovely and quite just wanted we needed. Value for money - the hotel was worth every penny. I would say Santorini is not the cheapest of places and I would compare it with UK spend. The average 2 course meal plus 2 drinks would be roughly £150.00. This really does depend on where you eat. So, shop around for the best deals. Myself and husband have never been one for returning back to the same hotel but we would make an exception for this place. If you are looking for a genuine, authentic, lovely hotel with spectacular views then you need to book this place. You will not be disappointed.

We cannot say enough about how hospitable the staff were. They attended to our needs, made excellent recommendations for food and activities. The view was breathtaking and the room had a simple beauty. We will definitely return to the Alti Suites when visiting Santorini without hesitation.
