Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Tower Hotel boasts a prime location that guests love, offering easy access to London's attractions and transport. However, some travelers are critical of the value, feeling the rooms are overpriced and amenities outdated. While the staff's professionalism is often highlighted, issues with noise, air conditioning, and room maintenance have marred the experience for many. The hotel's atmosphere and cleanliness receive mixed reviews, with calls for modernization and improved housekeeping.

Huge hotel right next to tower bridge . Great location to access the sights very central near tower hill tube station and 20 mins walk to London bridge station . Also DLR available but wasn't running for us . Room was tired and looked well used but was clean and we literally just slept in the room as we were out all day . I didn't pay extra and was lucky to get a view of the bridge which was amazing . Breakfast wasn't included so we went to weather spoons near the war memorial and tower bridge tube . There are some restraints in st Katherines dock just behind the hotel slug and lettuce cafe rouge cote etc plus a Tesco express open 7 days till midnight . Concierge guy was really helpful clearly a Londoner himself helped with directions to abba voyage which were spot on . Went in the bar for drinks which was pricey £15 for red wine but it is London and the view is great . As I said room was clean and did the job if your not looking for luxury just a good night's sleep , decent hot shower and great location this is the place to stay .

Having stayed here before I had high hopes and was extremely disappointed. When we arrived, we paid £30 to check in early to end up moving rooms twice. The first room was unclean and dated in general, I’m not one to complain so that I would have lived with. It was the bathroom, the shower that was brown rather than chrome with rust and the toilet flush that swung in a circle and the whole mechanism fell out if you tried to flush it. The fact it was unusable is why we complained but it was falling apart and embarrassing that they would offer that room in the first place. They took us up to the next room after moving us for us to walk into that bathroom and the ceiling be covered in mould, I’m not even talking a little bit, from one end to the other in thick green mould to which the receptionist just shrugged when I said surely you cannot think it’s ok to put people in these rooms when they’re paying £150 a night. The only reason it gets stars is because of a lovely gentlemen called Mohammed who was very sincere and helpful and sorted it out in the end by upgrading us to the executive suite (which I will add was no different apart from the mini bar he said we could have for free.. 3 x cans of pop and a beer and water.. nothing special.) and the view of the tower which was lovely. He did really try and is the only reason our stay wasn’t a complete disaster.

My husband book the Tower hotel as a surprise for my 60th birthday. Whilst the reception was beautiful.. upstairs corridors were extremely tatty . Marks on the walls bits chipped off really off putting . The room was lovely and the view was amazing looking out on to the bridge. For what my husband paid I don’t personally think it was worth the money. You really need to pay attention to detail and the upkeep .

Were treated to an Executive room upgrade by the Hotel as a Guest of the Day promotion. This provided a spectacular view across Tower Bridge alongside a welcome note and lovely bottle red wine. Room was comfortable and quiet for the night. The lifts can be a little idiosyncratic although the welcome on the first floor JD Bar warm and welcoming with extensive views across the Thames. Thank you Sathesh for looking after us!

Arrived at the Hotel lovely setting...the Bedroom really tired needs a lick of Paint and the Carpet is Bare around d the Edge. They Offered us a Drink Package cost £30....total waste of Money as there was nothing much in the Mini Bar 3 Sodt Drinks and 2 Bottles of Water. Complained to the Reception then they brought as a Can of Gin and Tonic then complained again then they said they would Offer us another Alcohol Drink and we never recieved it

Great Hotel in an ideal location. Thames River is your view. Clean rooms Spacious bed Plenty of parking in the car park (strange for London) Cons They give 2 sparkling bottles of water rather than one still and one sparkling Entrance to the car park is narrow and respect if you got a Range Rover in there. Rooms feel a little out of date and could use a revamp.
