I did not want write this review 'cause we did not choose the hotel in this travel, was a corporate travel, that means the hotel was chosen by third parties, corporate booking usually do not know the facilities where place their companions, previusly we had been at Mercure Plaza Essen (2012-2015) and SheratonEssen (2004) to a walking distance from where my husband would be attending meetings. Webers das Hotel in RUHRTURM is a nice and clean 3* hotel in a large office/conference building. Our room was quite confortable, not mentions the pillows "super confortables". While they have different type of rooms, the size of the bed is always the same; is beause our 6 days stay turned into 2 weeks, so we try to move to another room with a King size or a unsplit bed, but was not

Great business hotel booked a superior room on a long term stay rate .Large room ,fridge micro wave and coffee machine . I booked a room now there's 3 colleagues staying here as well . Nice view with plenty of Windows . Comfy bed and a great shower . Staff in the bar and reception are very friendly. Booking team for long term stay were excellent . Food in the hotel is to expensive ,something they should look at as the restaurant was was closed during my stay and the tables around the bar area were mainly empty .( no surprise ) But there is a fantastic Italian 5 mins walk (out of the hotel turn left and left )looks basic but try it great home made food at a reasonable price and a good basic Greek restaurant 2 mins away .(turn left cross the road) If you have a day off go down to

Visited with European colleagues for a two day conference. Conference facilities were perfectly adequate but the restaurant was very poor. Service was extremely slow. Waited around 40 minutes between each of the three courses and half an hour for a glass of wine. The staff appeared not to be concerned about the delay. Paying for the hotel carpark on departure took nearly 20 minutes due to their policy of not accepting card payments below 10 euros. Only changed their stance when I offered to increase the 5.60 euro charge to 10 euros as I had no cash.

We have chosen this hotel for its location. The lobby looks rather minimalistic, but the rooms are nice, well maintained, clean and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. First it looked weird for me that the windows can not be opened, but it did not cause any inconvenience: the air is fresh, no smells etc. The entire hotel is a non-smoking area - good! Breakfast buffet is optional and is charged separately, very good and we did not regret our choice. Good wi-fi connection. Friendly and helpfull staff. Will definitely recommend.

It is a pleasure from time to time to go for a hotel classified with 3 stars and find out that it worth 4 stars with congratulations. I had a business trip to Aldi North company and stayed over night in this marvelous hotel. Everything is elegant, clean and nice. Breakfast is rich with everything. It reminds of the Turkish coast which is one of the references. Personal is kind and supportive in every question. One drawback, take care that the underground garage is shared with cars that might come from outside, so it is not dedicated to hotel customers and one could not find a place when in the middle of the day. So, all in all a nice experience. For the owners: Keep up the good work!

A priority for me when travelling is a secure car park for whichever vehicle I happen to be in. The car park at this hotel is underground and my 430 sat there totally secure for the two days my son and I were there. We also got 166 mph on the autobahn (with him driving) before I had to tell him to cool it! The room was warm, quiet, spacious and comfortable although the pillow left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was also good but the evening meal was very average.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip. Upon arrival on the Sunday evening I was told that the restaurant was closed, and that my only option was Sushi that was ordered from outside of the hotel. I was quite disappointed that this was my only option, however I ordered the sushi and it was actually very good. I then ate breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 3 days in the hotel and the food quality was quite disappointing. The room itself was very nice and modern, and the facilities were great, however the aircon unit rattled all night long. Perhaps this is why you are provided with earplugs! The hotel isn't anything special, and I wouldn't be in a rush to return.

A newer hotel with a unique office/hotel combo. Odd to ride hotel to your room as employees filed in with briefcases. Nice rooms, very average. Didn't love that the bed was two single mattresses pushed together. Great breads at breakfast and the bar is in a great location downstairs.

The hotel is generally nothing special - it is just a hotel. It is average looking hotel with average looking bath with average looking beds and average looking closets and all... Maybe beds are too small per my opinion. I had twin bed room with beds put together that were to easily detached one from another. However, they are totally nice, they are very very clean and overall atmosphere is excellent. The location is nice if you are going to Dusseldorf as I was every day because it is close to highway exit. Also, the breakfast is good with variety of choice. I liked it there. Price is ok as well. So, maybe next time I would not choose just for change of it, not because I am displeased.

It's a short 15 minute walk to the main train station in Essen from the hotel, but it is still nicely situated in Essen's greener south side. It's a very new hotel in a building that was previously offices, and is set up well for the business traveller. The rooms have large windows (which unfortunately don't open), and both the bathroom and rooms were spacious. The breakfasts were good. Everything is nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice flower shop across the street.
