We spent one night in Zaragoza on our route up north. Staying at the Hotel Zenit Don Yo was a good choice. The location is grand, it being in the centre of the business and commercial area of Zaragoza, but most importantly for our purpose, close to the Centro Historic. This is a very nicely appointed hotel. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Free wifi is available, as is air-conditioning. The staff are friendly and courteous. There is an onsite restaurant available. We didn't have a meal here, but we did avail ourselves to a well appointed buffet breakfast next morning, available for twelve Euro. There is no onsite parking, but it is available relatively close by for 18 euro/day. The rates are mid range, not bad for where the location is. Once you are checked in, it is time to explore. You go out the front door, turn left, for a short distance, then turn right and you are on Paseo de la Independencia. This is a main thoroughfare and is an interesting stroll as you wind yourself down to the Ebro River. It is down here that you will find many historic buildings, many of which are inscribed in the UNESCO Mudejar Architecture of Aragon. These include the Basilica del Pillar and the Catedral de San Salvador. The Alijaferia, which houses the Aragones Parliament, also found here, dates from the late 11th century. Spanning the Ebro River is the 15th century, Puente de Piedra. We were here on Sunday, April 30 and the place was buzzing, quite a festive time! Too much to take in for our short stay. Zaragoza has a lot to offer and the Zenit Don Yo is a good base from which to do it.

Came here for a family trip away and had the triple room, the room was big with a small balcony and massive bathroom that had good water pressure, The location is good few moments away from the main shopping street and I really liked the roof top gym with good views of the whole city, We will be back

We had a reservation here but due to Lufthansa strike, we could not fly. We tried 3 new flights for two days, all cancelled. Unfortunately, we had to cancel this hotel stay. The hotel was NOT understanding and declined our refund request. Even if we had no control. We wanted to rebook our stay here next time we flew in, but will not since they obviously feel it's more important to keep a few hundred dollars than to do the right thing for it's customers. So disappointed. Aunque no tuviéramos control. Queríamos volver a reservar nuestra estadía aquí la próxima vez que voláramos, pero no lo haremos, ya que obviamente sienten que es más importante quedarse con unos cientos de dólares que hacer lo correcto para sus clientes. Muy decepcionado

We arrived late on a Monday night that's not a good idea but we were travelling down from Santander & the ferry was late. We didn't get much help from the police or taxi company...the people in Zaragona were very helpful. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent & a lot to choose from on the buffet. The hotels are not sign posted very well. Well worth the visit only wish we could've stayed longer.

We had a junior suite and found bed comfrtable, room had a bar fridge but no tea making available in room. Found staff attentive and requests actioned swiftly. A good hreakfast at 12 euro pp. We found it an easy walk into the old town with a number of eateries along the way although the better one are located down the side streets.

This is a well located fairly standard city hotel. Parking is available a block away. Rooms have comfy beds and all amenities but are a little dated. We had a longish wait to check in as only one member of staff was available and there is irritating Muzak in the lobby area. Overall good value for money

The place is old and run down. You find places like these and most times the staff and services try to make up for the shortfall. Not here. My room was dirty with somebody else’s leftovers in the fridge, room service was unavailable because it was Sunday and the staff made everything possible not to help in anything. Next time I will choose another hotel or see what is available in AirBnB. But if I get lost in Zaragoza don’t look for me in this hotel...

First time at the hotel, stayed in a room for 3 with my partner and brother-in-law, we were here for the Aragon Motogp. Check in was easy, staff parked our car which was very helpful. Bro in laws room was a double sofa bed, tv on wall. Our room had twin beds pushed together with a mini bar fridge which we used to keep our milk in. Initially no kettle, but we asked if we could have one, it was delivered to our room for when we got back. Breakfast is continental, with scrambled eggs, bacon & Spanish sausage, selection of pastries, biscuits, fruit, cereal Yoghurt etc. The only downfall no drawers with only a single size wardrobe, could do with replacing the glass table for a dressing table. We too had a tv, unfortunately no English Channel which was a shame & no radio on tv. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, they allowed me to use their pc to print off flight tickets. Hotel is a few minutes walk to the centre, shops, cafes, restaurants no need to use public transport. We have already booked the hotel for next yr. Thank you 😊 to all the staff

Very basic room with all the necessary things. Clean. They change towels and sheets very often. My room was with a nice view in the church. It was next to the elevator but I was not disturbed at all. The gym on the top floor is absolutely amazing!!
