Stayed here with family & had two rooms. Parked the car literally 2 minutes away in main underground car park. (make sure you tell the hotel on checking in so you obtain a discounted ticket from reception €12 for 24 hrs) I am not sure where the 'boutique' definition comes into play, it is a functional hotel & in parts needs some TLC. Unfortunately for us the room & bathroom (tiny) were very cold! Even with heating on!! The staff were helpful & polite. Shopping, bars , restaurants are all within a minutes stroll as the hotel location is very central. Breakfast is traditional buffet style & ok. Zaragoza is a great city with many hotels to choose from. Personally I would select elsewhere in future.

Arriving at 3:30pm at this 'hard to find and park' centrally located hotel in the lovely city of Zaragoza, the hotel receptionist was less than welcoming, it's an industry standard to stand and greet a guest on arrival, not so in this case, where the receptionist remained seated, asked us to wait, which we did for several minutes, very rude. Our stay, on Mon. 28 Oct had been booked for a while, so we were disappointed to see we had been assigned twin instead of a double bedded room. We requested a room change but the receptionist was incredibly argumentative, such as I have never experienced before. To the point of both irritation and boredom she kept saying it was my fault as I had not specified the bed requirement, despite my comments saying that I had not had any chance to do so, she still persisted in arguing! She finally and begrudgingly found another room. The whole conversation was totally unnecessary and unprofessional of her. The hotel is pleasant and clean, but it would seem most rooms do not have windows with a view unless you are located at front of hotel. Breakfast is simple, basic but adequate.

Excellent location just a few steps from the “El Tubo” (tapas district) and 10 minutes walking from Plaza del Pilar. Nice and clean room. Good breakfast for only 4,50 €. Boutique Maza was a nice surprise in Zaragoza. There is a private car parking nearby the hotel and guests of Maza has discount. Reception desk woman not friendly.

My previous experience of 'boutique' hotels has been very satisfying, but on this occasion I was hugely disappointed, so much so that I ended up moving to another hotel. The reviews for this hotel are looking good, but I must have been given the worst possible room. No daylight, the window was covered by a solid opaque board; one single light on the desk, only bright enough if you went directly underneath, so no way e.g. to read in bed; ever present smell of drains in the bathroom; the walls so thin that I could hear the person next door blowing his nose etc(!); the lift was slow, wobbly and noisy till the small hours - the room was on the 6th floor, so couldn't avoid using it. I thought of asking for another room, but there were just too many issues, so couldn't wait to get out. It's not uncommon that single rooms are at the back of beyond in hotels, but usually they are vaguely habitable.

Dear Maria R4114, we thank you for your comments and rating. Regarding your comments tell you that we have enough individual clients, whether for work or leisure, who come regularly to the hotel and all guests are treated in the same way. For our part we always suggest booking a double room for individual use, the difference is small and comfort is much greater. Thanks again for your trust. Sincerely the director

We stayed for 14 nights in this hotel. It is a two stars hotel, so it hasn't a fridge or a kettle in the room. But it was very clean, and the furniture like new. The bathroom was ok. The breakfast was very basic. The hotel is perfect situated in Zaragoza. After the corner, on the right is a very good Gelateria . Supermarket very close - El Corte Ingles.( around 100 meters). Must try to visit Huesca- train from Goya Station 11 .80 euros a return ticket. From the airport you can take the bus 501 until the terminus, at around 500 meters from the hotel.(1.85 euros the ticket - from the driver). We recommand this hotel to explore Zaragoza.

Our room was small, but very clean and suited our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful; breakfast was limited in range but again it suited our needs fine. The location was excellent - right on the Plaza de Espana and in easy walking distance of the sights. We visited during the Pilar festivities which meant that the town was incredibly vibrant and busy; still we had not problems sleeping as our room was at the back. We used the nearby underground parking which worked well for us.

Excellent value comfortable hotel right on the Plaza de Espana. Really good staff who spoke English and explained everything including reduced price at underground car park. Very slight moan; bathroom was a little small for a chap of my bulk. Not their fault, mine! Breakfast was standard fare but good; coffee machine gave lukewarm espresso. Would definitely stay here again.

For what we paid (sub USD$50), the hotel completely surpassed all expectations. I would recommend this place any day of the week. Thats not to say you're gonna get a 5 star experience, but you will get the best possible location in Zaragoza, a comfortable bed, clean room, shampoo, and body wash. If that's all your expecting and you're on a budget this hotel is for you

Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the central location - close to lots of lovely restaurants and bars. Also short walk to sights and shops. Basic breakfast but catered for all our needs. Stayed in a triple room with teenage son, single bed set back from main double bed so he had some privacy. Would stay here again.

The location is perfect for all that you need to enjoy the fantastic city of Zaragoza. The staff were helpful and the room was great, as we were luck enough to be on the top floor, 603, with a view of the Plaza, and a small balcony, (somewhat rickety, but safe) We were late in finding the PC and printer, which is located in the breakfast room. Highly recommend.
