The Hotel Spa La Casa Mudéjar is situated in the very heart of Segovia, next to the Main Square and the Cathedral. This 15th century building was turned into a Hotel & Spa in 2005 incorporating many arqueological remains to up-to-date comfort. Thanks to the great care taken during the restoration work the hotel was awarded with the AR&PA Restoration Awards. Once inside you can enjoy amazing works of art and other beauties such as 15th century moulded ceilings, the best views to Guadarrama mountains, the most important Roman remains in the city after the Aqueduct and the Celtic foundations.

Situated just off the main square, but still quiet. A great base for Segovia, with the cathedral and plenty of restaurants nearby. A nice old building with friendly staff. Wifi was good. Room was clean. Breakfast was hearty. I didn’t use the spa.

We enjoyed our stay here. All the people we talked to at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. They gave us many tips about where to go and what to see. The location is near the Plaza Mayor, but far enough away that the crowds weren't very bad. We had a room on the upper floor that faced out toward the mountains. We saw hot air balloons one morning. It is a nice place. The hallways make you think you are in a home because of the decor. Our room was roomy enough to allow us to move around. The bathroom was large with a tub. Our first night was expensive because of a holiday, but the remaining nights were quite reasonable. We did visit the spa one evening. It was relaxing after several weeks of travel.

Average hotel, with an excellent central location just off main plaza. Reasonable room, but located near the lift, so a little noisy. We paid extra for breakfast, which was alright, but expensive for what we had. Friendly and helpful front desk.

Service was amazing! A friend and I had very limited time left in Segovia, but wanted to try the cochinillo before we left. We found this restaurant and were met with such amazing service. They were very accommodating and kind, and had very fast service. The cochinillo was delicious! Definitely recommend!

We booked online with no problems. Their web page was easy to navigate. The location was around the corner from the Catedral, and close proximity to many restaurants and shops. The room was beautiful with incredibly historic painted wood ceilings. The staff was extremely friendly, bilingual and helpful with excellent tips/advice. I would recommend to anyone and will be a repeat customer.

We paid for a massage (2 massages, 2 persons) that in the end was 15 min shorter than agreed. no way to claim money back, and despite coming back the next day to talk to the manager, no compensation was given (not totalk about the manners and explanations given by him). Real shame.

You face with problems of this hotel directly during the booking. If someone will answer to you, you'll be very lucky. Parking: they offer you public parking very close by the phone and when you come, you realize that it's too far away. Conditions of the rooms: it's too old to be spa. It's ever worse than majority of Soviet Hotels I was... you can see dirty walls and old furniture. It's not historically old. It's old stuff from 70's, I guess, in very bad conditions... Reception: I would say that they've never been studying in hospitality universities. You can hear it by the phone and you can 'enjoy' it on reception. They were very lucky that I was accompanied by Spanish who didn't let me ask for 'Hoja de reclamaciones'...

This is a quaint hotel. The rooms (top floor) have the wooden rafters and small windows which are stereotypical of the medieval houses. Clean and comfortable, although will need some TLC in the near future and could easily have an excellent category with a bit of attention... I didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there is a great bar just on the corner a few metres away, where they have great fresh products and good coffee for less money. Located in an excellent spot just of the main square and adjacent to the great cathedral. Lots of restaurants and bars where you can sip a nice wine or a cold beer!

In the pure heart of Segovia you can walk to all the most emblematic places, the excellent hotel and very good breakfast. I recommend if you have a car that uses the concierge service of the hotel, the parking lot is far away.
