This hotel is probably the friendliest we''ve ever stayed in.It has lovely well cared for gardens and pool. We stayed for two weeks enjoying our time there. We chose La Primula because of its star rating, location, parking, garden and pool. The hotel makes a good base from which to explore;ore the surrounding area and hill top villages. We would like to return.

We didn't want to stay in the center of Potenza so we opted for this hotel not far away and with plenty of parking space. We enjoyed the hotel very much. Very good, friendly attentive service. The rooms were big and very clean .

Loved this place when first here a few years ago and returning was always my intention. About 10 minutes outside of the city and right near the highway, it provides easy access to many destinations. Have your GPS at hand as it is somewhat hidden way and the area itself is rather plain. Once you enter the grounds its like finding an oasis. The grounds are beautifully decorated and landscaped. There are gardens areas and a quite sizable pool to enjoy in warmer months. They are highly rated in the area and are host to many special occasions as their service and food are exceptional. The rooms range from regular to large sized, all being provided with very comfortable beds as well as the full range of comforts such as flat screen tv, wifi, and step in showers. A very fine breakfast is included and while not included their dinner is worth trying as the food quality and service is outstanding. What makes this place truly worth visiting however is the staff. It's a family run business and they exemplify the meaning of Italian hospitality. They are warm and generous people who take genuine pleasure in making your experience a good one. You will have good memories of your stay and of the family and like myself, you will want to return when next in Potenza.

I was surprising they had rooms that fit for 11 people. The balcony has great view, rooms were neat, comfortable. Food was good enough as well as the service. Apart from the hotel, there are many attraction within the walking distance.

We had a family reunion for 32 people. This place was astounding for any event. Rosario, our host, was outstanding with his service and concern, We almost considered him one of our family and we felt like part of his. The place is clean with a great restaurant, a very pleasant ambiance and wonderful location, It even had a pool and air conditioning but you can find that almost anywhere. What makes this place special and perhaps even unique is the family who runs it. Everyone was pleasant and really anxious to help - even above and beyond what is expected. Words cannot express the care they gave us. Why Potenza? Our family roots were in Calabria so why didn't we stay there? Potenza is central to Southern Italy highlights including Castelmezzano and Matera and it's on the autostrada. The younger members went to the beach at Salerno and hiked Vesuvius, about an hour away. The museum at Potenza in very interesting and the food is great. Why put up with the prices, congestion and noise of a city when here you have it all. A wonderful place to stay and even better for events such as weddings and reunions!

Excellent customer service by Rosario and staff. Reasonably priced. Great pool and the bar staff was the best! From preparing and arranging dinners for 32 of us- to making sure we were all hydrated on a bus ride to our family ancestral home, nothing was forgotten which ensured a memorable experience for all of us! Top notch!

We stayed here for our family reunion and had such a wonderful experience! Rosario and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay a special experience. The grounds are clean and well taken care of. Our room was cozy and my 3 year old daughter loved all the toys in her room, such a special touch. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Quiet, pleasant countryside location ten minutes away from Potenza. Country style structure surrounded by a very nice garden with some nice plants and a pool. Simple but pleasant decor. My little boy and I had a spacious room with a little terrace with basic comforts. Simple, but good breakfast. Very kind, prompt service.
