We stayed here as a large family over New Year’s Eve. The rooms were generous and even though we had a shared bathroom, it suited us as we knew the others sharing it with us. Nice simple breakfast. Location was excellent as you can drop back if you ever get sick of eating! Would recommend.

The place had everything you would need. The only issue if any was the shared bathrooms. There was three bathrooms for the ten units. Wasn't an issue for us. Near loads of attractions within walking distance. The rooms were kept clean and the staff was very nice. I'd recommend

This hotel was a delight- a fantastic location and very good price. Very homely and nice old style. We were offered a choice of air con room or a fan with a larger room for the same price and happily went for the very large room (no 3) with a fan (nicer than air con we think) with a wonderful view looking over a roof garden. Our room had a shared bathroom down the corridor but frankly I'm happy to save a little and it was no problem- always very clean and we never needed to wait to use it (there are three toilets). The self service breakfast was a very welcome and unexpected plus (not specified in the booking description). Staff very helpful too- kindly put out wine and some food in the fridge to cool. I am quite critical about hotels, and stay in many bland chain ones with my work, so it is unusual that I will be so positive and am writing this to encourage their business which has taken a big hit with Covid. that It was so nice we rearranged our plans to keep staying there for four nights (instead on just one) and used Bologna as a base for day trips. Bologna is GREAT btw.

Location is really great, virtually a couple of steps brings you to the main square; two towers are maybe 5 mins away. Breakfast is a standard Italian fare - some cakes and fruit (be aware that although some reservation sites do not mention this, it's always included in the price of your stay). Some people might find strange that the bathroom is shared, but since it's actually three bathrooms they are never full, always available and very, very clean. Room equipment is more basic than luxurious but generally it's very pleasant accommodation.

We loved our stay here! Our room was massive so sharing with our 14 month old was not a problem. Staff couldn't have been friendlier to us and our daughter, bending over backwards to make sure she was comfortable in the cot they set up for her. The cleanliness throughout the hotel and shared bathrooms was outstanding. Breakfast perfect. Beautiful views over Bologna rooftops gardens and beyond to the hills. Loved using the old fashioned elevator to the 4th floor. Staff were helpful pointing us in the direction of the parking spaces which was only €9 for 24 hours. Hope to return! Highly recommend.

We stayed here in mid-September and Panorama is about as central as you can get in Bologna without actually camping out in Piazza Maggiore. It is easy to find; about a 15 minute walk from the railway station or bus terminal (we arrived by very comfortable Flixbus) and four floors up in an old-fashioned cage lift past echoing hallways with huge wooden doors leading to what looked like lawyers' offices. The hotel is essentially one floor of a vast building, the corridors are wide and the rooms are big. We had room 2 which as requested looked out over the back of the building, over San Salvatore church and the green hills behind Bologna - the view was amazing. Room 2 had a sink, armchairs, a wardrobe, table and chairs for breakfast and a dressing table - much larger than most hotel rooms and with double French windows and a fan. The position made it very quiet, and the fan made it very cool in what was almost 40 degrees outside. Staff are incredible friendly and helpful. When we limped back after all day walking around town they rushed off and brought back bottles of cold water. They kept our small backpacks for us all day after check-out, and were never less than professional and full of information. You share a bathroom; there are three at the end of the corridor so one was always available with a mixture of bath, showers and lavatories, all spotlessly clean and supplied with soaps. Breakfast is a help-yourself generous buffet in the hall which you gather on a tray and eat in your room. All in all, an excellent hotel which we'd thoroughly recommend.

Good hotel, central position on main street. Rooms are classic Italian design and furniture, on the small side but functional. Great continental breakfast and good in house restaurant. Competent staff who are willing to help.

A family of four, we found this budget-style hotel absolutely everything we needed it to be. Very clean, safe, friendly, with ample space. The three shared bathrooms were always available and our 8 year old particularly liked the shower with multiple spray points. The central location can't be beat. The breakfasts had plenty of choices. Our kids loved the old-style wrought iron elevator. The floors squeak like crazy, although we got used to it after the first night. Although our room faced a busy street, did not seem noisy at all. Super kind and helpful proprietor and staff.

This is a mix of budget hotel and B&B. The location could not be better, the walking shopping streets are just outside. Friendly personell and possible get permission to park the car on a square nearby. The rooms are very large with Charming furnitures, as this used to be an appartment for the rich people.

That’s a very beautiful and central location in city center. It is extremely clean and quiet. There is also a pleasant view of the rooftop. You will be a few steps of the main attractions in the historical center.
