Marco was perfect. He had care about us via whatsapp on way to accommodation. House is clean, very nice, very historical situated in calm part of centrum, but about one minute walk from main street and Funicular stop. Everything was clean - bathroom, room, kitchen etc. In kitchen you have Italian coffee for free, great in a morning. I have just only one thing about it. Room was really cold, about 15 degrees of Celsius. Heater was on timer and sometime in the middle of night was turned off. That was really hell in the morning to wake up. But over all, I can heartly reccommended this accommodation - on summer or push to Marco set up timer for all night... ;-) Photos here on TA are real and show reality.

Great room, great location and awesome host, room was lovely with strong wifi. Stayed for 2 nights, close to Funicular rail and the centre of old town... Marco even arranged a birthday cake and prosecco for our arrival.... Marco, you are the best!

We recently booked this lovely family run BnB for a short family spa break to San Pellegrino. From the outset Marco was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated with antique furniture, warm and pristine ,the bed linen is crisp ,white cotton guaranteeing a great sleep. Marco and Daniela will do their utmost to make your stay comfortable ,we would not hesitate to rebook and recommend ,a gem .

Take the number one bus from the train station to the first stop once you pass through the gates of Citta Alta, and you are two minutes from this location. This location is nice and quiet, but 5 minutes walking from all of the bars and restaurants and churches. Marco and his wife are literally the best. He saved us on so many occasions - helped us locate a dry cleaner and gave them instructions since we didn’t speak Italian, helped us with our laundry while we were at a conference all day, and got us a fan for our room at night. The beds/pillows are fine, and it is a shared bathroom, but completely worth it given the views and location. If Marco offers to make you their family’s casoncelli, do not pass Go, do not collect $200 - stop and eat every bit of it and lick the bowl clean. So grateful we found this incredible place for our trip.

The hotel is in the old town, a little bit difficult to find. They offer you the option to park your car around the hotel, with a paper that allows you to stay in the old town without a fee from the police. The room was nice, the problem was that out bathroom was in another floor...i didn’t like that. The breakfast was fine. They owner was nice.

It might not quite be worth 5 stars but the couple running this new B&B are absolutely lovely and they are trying very hard. Location is a highlight - 5 minutes walk from the churches in the upper town but also only 10 minutes from the galleries in the low town. My (single) room was very small but perfectly adequate and for the price I have no complaints. Internet is good and strong. The shared bathroom is bright and clean and new. Unfortunately the shower is in a very small bathtub. The bottom of the tub is curved so you can't stand flat and the handheld shower attachment spins all over the place as you are wrapped up in the shower curtain... easy things to fix. Breakfast is simple - cereal, bread, a tart and some fruit. Note that parking is difficult - not impossible - but difficult. Free overnight but during the day it's expensive and you'll have to move your car around every few hours. Or maybe you can find a better solution? I believe the owners do have the ability to give out 1 permit for parking per day to a guest. It was taken when I went.

Visit for a longer weekend for the Eastern weekend. We’ve found a good price accommodation for the whole family. Very good location, close to Citta Alta of Bergamo, still shared bathroom (info missing on the website), wasn’t a good idea. Average breakfast without any speciality...
