If you are looking for a low budget bb but at the same time clean and located close to the center this is the best option for you. Highly recommended if you have to catch an early flight, close to the bus stop for the airport shuttle, first bus around 5am from Mon to Fri, no need to book a taxi.

We stayed here for a night while in Bergamo and the welcome we received from Maria was super. She really makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would certainly stay here again of ever I'm in Bergamo. Thanks very much Maria 😀

We were supposed to spend a lazy afternoon and night in Bergamo before going to the airport. B&B Fanzago seemed a good place because it's very close to train station and bus terminal with direct connections to the airport. However, our stay was SO MUCH MORE! The old town of Citta Alta is within a nice walking distance. Take the old funicular to spare your legs and have a little fun ride up the steep way. In Citta Alta, there is plenty to see and spend a lovely evening, dine, walk and enjoy the great ambience. We loved our stay in Bergamo alot! Fanzago itself is run by an extremely nice owner. She's helpful if you need advice on restaurants and sights. The place is comfy and clean, great location. Breakfast is OK but we bought our own sandwich meat the previous night at a family run butcher's - it's a delicious option to boost your morning meal ;-)

Close to the train station, airport bus and walkable distance to the upper town funicular. Very well-maintained place and really kind hostess! It is nice that there is self-served breakfasts for early departures. We will definitely return some day 😊

This small hotel is located on the third floor of a building in 3-minute walk from the railway station. Thanks to other tourists’ reviews, I easily found it. Though check-in time is only between 15:00-20:00, it is possible make arrangements for late arrival in advance. I arrived some 2 hours later than scheduled because of a delayed flight. Maria, the owner of the hotel, knew about this delay and was waiting for my arrival. She is a very friendly lady, and thanks to the general atmosphere she had created, I really felt at home there. My room was nice and clean, and self-service breakfast was available at any moment. I would like to hank Maria again for this pleasant stay.

A very clean B and B within easy reach of the airport, trains and buses. Not our first visit to Bergamo so made sure to buy a 3 day pass at the airport to use on the buses and funiculars - only €7. Fanzago is easy to find, and there is a lift to the 3rd floor. We received a very warm welcome and the rooms were spacious, warm and clean, as were the en-suite bathrooms. Easy walking to restaurants and shops.

Stayed here for 4 nights to go to the F1 in Monza. The owner was very friendly and explained the 4 keys that you have to get into the property. I didn't realise that she does not live on the premises, which made me feel very uneasy as we were basically sharing with strangers. Our room was quite small with the beds offset head to toe but it was clean. The bathroom was an awkward layout as the shower was opposite the door which made getting in and out quite a challenge. The walls were quite thin. Breakfast was help yourself, but was quite basic and the choice depended on whether the owner had topped up the supplies as some mornings there was next to nothing to eat. Location was good for both the train station and the main street. The building it's in is very old and you don't tend to see anyone else as you are going in an out. I think I'd pay more for a hotel next time as this was our second visit to Bergamo and it was just as good as the first time.

It is very convenient for visiting Bergamo. Close to the bus and train station and also to the city centre. Quiet and safe area. In the residential building but inside like a small hotel. Four modern rooms with bathrooms and balconies. An area for breakfest with all kitchen appliances like fridge, coffee machine, microwave. Remember that you have to pay at the beginning of the stay as you leave a room without checking.

We needed a place near the train for one night. The location was convenient to the train and bus terminal. Maria was very helpful to make suggestions. The price was not expensive and shops and restaurants were nearby. It is not a hot breakfast with meat or eggs so this is lacking.

Maria the owner could not be any kinder. She is a warm and welcoming. The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was very good. Very accessible by foot from train station 5 -10 min. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Note: the location is a small shopping arcade. It is located on Via Angelo Maj. Hello, Maria, Steve & Arturo
