Thank you to the hotel staff for all the comfort offered. The price paid is much lower than the value of the services we received (room, breakfast, etc.). professional team, really kind. impeccable hygiene. varied and very rich breakfast, and tasty - with many Italian specialties. I received a better room (with a balcony, bigger) than the one I had booked. breakfast can also be served on the terrace. the area is safe. nearby you can find the Crai supermarket. it is a relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. the hotel has two elevators. every day I found water in the fridge, cleaning, changing towels, etc. an unforgettable vacation, starting with a successful accommodation. in torino, i will only choose this hotel.

Arriva bus from just outside the arrivals area of the Turin Airport to Porta Nuova took about 30 minutes and it was then just a three minute walk to the Best Western Plus Hotel Genova. And what a lovely hotel it is. The receptionist was ever so polite and helpful, the common areas of the hotel and the room had lovely decor, a fantastic forest type shower with complimentary shampoo etc and there was plenty coffee/tea in the room. Comfortable bed and ample pillows and the air-conditioning worked reasonably well. The room was also spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was good, a fair choice of breads and pastries, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled egg, bacon, fruit and a coffee machine.
The hotel is just over the road from the main Porta Nuova railway station and yet, it never felt unsafe. Unlike some other major city railway stations in Italy there were few troublesome looking characters hanging around!
Walking into the centre of town from the hotel takes about ten to fifteen minutes, some of it along roofed cloisters taking the sun off your head. A nice stroll.
Check-out was also very simple with polite and helpful staff.
It is well located for arrivals/departures by train or by plane and is close to the centre of town. Would definitely stay here again.
Overall, a very pleasant stay in a hotel that feels like it should cost far more than it actually does! It certainly deserves the 4 star status and the 'Plus' after 'Best Western'.

First the pluses. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The were always ready the assist us. The location, directly across from the train station, is about as far from the center of town as you want to be. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the center of the city. There is, however, a metro stop very close, though it does not go to the city center. The issues we experienced may be due in part to the fact that there is extensive construction going on at the hotel. Water pressure & temperature was very inconsistent - one evening it was barely lukewarm and another time the water stopped altogether. Because the building is old & well insulated, and the A/C is turned off once autumn starts, the room was very stuffy even though temps were 15-17C at night. You can open a window but the hotel is on a trolley line and noisy. Breakfast on the weekends is hectic; they ran out of coffee completely one day. The breakfast staff tried hard to keep up. Weekdays are better. The bedrooms (we had a standard double) are normal European size. The bed was fine, with two large pillows. Our room was on the 5th floor where the roof slopes so if you are tall watch out for the ceiling beams!

We stayed one night then returned for 2 nights following our trip to the Italian Lakes (which are stunning!). The hotel is in a good position for either train, tram or walking into the city centre (about 20 minutes walk). On both occasions we had a warm welcome from a professional reception team (Teresa is amazing).
Our room on the first floor was roomy, accessible with a terrace looking out onto the courtyard. Everything was very well appointed and clean (just a waste bin needed in the bedroom please).
The 2nd room was on the ground floor, much smaller & no terrace but equally appointed, clean and quiet. We heard no adjoining room noise as reported in other reviews on either stays.
There is a good caffe next door, a pharmacy 5 minutes away and a very good supermarket across the road within the train station complex.
The breakfast is an adequate buffet style with fresh fruit, pastries, scrambled egg etc. and there is plenty of seating available. Breakfast can be taken in the courtyard too. We didn't see much activity in the small bar but there are a couple of vending m/c's in reception for hot n cold drinks and snacks. Definitely would use this hotel again.

Each year I organize a Scottish Rite Class somewhere in Italy. I have been to Sicily-Naples-Pisa and northern Italy Verona, Vicenza and Padova. This year during the Christopher Columbus Holiday, 7 October 2023 I searched for a place to have a class in Genova, location of the birth of Christopher Columbus. It took me two trips to Genova to locate a place that would fill my requirements and at a reasonable price. Finally I located Best Western Plus in Genova. Hotel Management spent several hours going over the hotel and restaurant for our graduation ceremony at the end of the class. The kitchen jumped through hoops to make this one of the BEST of all the locations I have contracted since 1994. I give this hotel and it's management five stars and let you know this is the first time I have taken the time to sing the praise of any hotel I have utilized. With respect and admiration and a BIG recommendation.

We stayed for 6 nights using Turin as a base to explore Piedmont. The hotel is located opposite Porta Nuova train station which was super handy, I wouldn’t normally stay near a train station as they can often have unsavoury characters around but we never saw anything like this. Good location for exploring Turin too, about 20 mins walk to the centre and close to bus and tram stops.
The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice from pastries, cheese, meats, cereal etc and a decent coffee machine for cappuccinos and hot chocolates.
All of the staff were super friendly and helpful and more than happy to book restaurant reservations for us. A few that we interacted with were Marco, Andrea and Emiliano. The housekeeping staff did a super job and really friendly too.
Only downside which I think is common in hotels in Europe as it gets into autumn is turning the ac off, it was actually quite mild whilst we were there so it would have been nice to have had it on without having the windows open as we were street side so it was quite loud with the trams etc but this wasn’t too much of an issue.
Our room was large and had everything we needed with a fridge and good shower pressure.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay in a BW again.

We have just come back from a 3-night stay at the Hotel Genova. Everything was perfect from the friendly and very professional Reception staff (who helped us solve various problems unrelated to the hotel) to the cleanliness of the room. The family room was perfect for 2 parents with teenage children (a separate bedroom with a double bed and a sitting room area with 2 single beds for the children). We were lucky to get one of the car parking spaces near the hotel which benefited from video surveillance. The location of the hotel is an additional bonus as it makes it easy to take in the main Turin sights on foot. We will not hesitate to stay at the Hotel Genova again in the future.

My recent stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Genova in Turin was a delightful experience, marked by the friendly receptionist, Emiliano who made us feel welcome with his warm demeanor and helpful attitude. His genuine hospitality set the tone for a pleasant stay.
The hotel's proximity to the train station was a major convenience for us, as it made exploring other parts of Italy by train incredibly easy. The strategic location allowed us to maximize our time and take advantage of the efficient transportation system.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. However, it's worth noting that the proximity to the tram line did result in some noise during the night. Light sleepers may want to consider this factor or bring earplugs for a more restful night's sleep.
The real highlight of our mornings was the breakfast experience. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. The attentive and friendly waitresses, in particular, added a personal touch to our mornings. Their helpfulness and warm smiles made each breakfast a pleasant start to the day.
In conclusion, Best Western Plus Hotel Genova is a solid choice for travelers looking for a well-located and welcoming place to stay in Turin. The excellent service from receptionist Emiliano and the delightful breakfast experience outweighed the minor inconvenience of tram noise during the night. I would happily return to this hotel on my next visit to Turin and recommend it to fellow travelers.

this hotel is a rare example of a stylish refurbishment equipped with modern time hospitality features. I have experienced the fastest (ever!) internet in Italy, small but well equipped gym, delicious breakfast. All managed by caring staff, in an excellent location.

I didn't see any in the hotel and wasn't there long enough to need one so didn't inquire. A quick Google search did however reveal a chain of launderette services in Turin: lavasciuga torino
There is no parking in front of the hotel. In fact, you may not stop in front of it because of the taxi line. (Google it with the Street View, and you will see the taxis in front). Parking spots that are designated for BW are on the small street (Via Assietta) to the right of the hotel - four or five of them. We were told that because of the construction going on in the building directly across hotel's parking spots, there was a delivery truck that took some spaces. And, even we were in Turin early, according to the front desk, the rest of them was taken by people who already stayed at the hotel. Anyway, there was NO FREE PARKING AVAILABLE in our case. Choices are: - you are lucky and there is a free spot; more realistic choice is - to park on the paid parking till 6 or 7 pm, as we have done, and inquire from time to time at the front desk (they are very helpful, by the way). Weekends are free for the street parking. The bottom line - If you read on the hotel website - free parking - you expect free parking. They should say, very limited free parking subject to availability. Otherwise it is a misrepresentation.
