Excellent location in a classic Corfu building. The hotel is old but the rooms are clean and the bathroom was renovated. There is a problem with the Internet since the signal is weak. The first night there was a problem with dozens of mosquitoes but with the help of the staff the problem was solved. In any case, the hotel is value for money.

I recently stayed at this hotel, Hotel Konstantinoupolis. I only stayed there for one night. I took a cab from the Corfu Airport to this location, it cost 22 Euros. I stayed here the night of August 21,2023. I arrived at the hotel .The hotel has an older feel, with nice thick red carpet. When you arrive, the floor you enter on is a bit small. When you look to the left, you will see the elevator there. I could fit two people, my large luggage, and two carry on suitcases into the elevator. You take the elevator up to the first floor to see the receptionist. The lady will give you the key and the wifi password and then you can take the elevator to your room. I was in Room 409. It was a big room with a balcnoy overlooking the main street. Yes there was an air conditioner unit I could control, yes the plug outlets are Italian style, yes there was a wardrobe with hangers and extra pillows. There were three beds in my room, I don’t know why, but oh well. I had a balcony which faced the main street. There was also a television and a minifridge. The bathroom was modern, with a toilet, sink, and stand-up shower. I don’t remember any takeaway toiletries, but there was a container for soap in the shower and by the sink for visitors to use. When you shower, water more than likely will go on the floor,so the floor becomes slippery. I think this can be fixed if they install another glass door in the shower. Room access is via a real key, not an electronic key. If you need a taxi, there is a taxi stand right across the street. Also, there are many restaurants all over the place, even right outside the hotel, so eating will not be a problem. After you check out, if you still need time to walk around the city, the hotel will provide a space where you can leave your bags. There is also a common bathroom area to the right of the reception check -in area. If you are a solo female traveler or you are traveling with a loved one, you will feel safe in this hotel. For breakfast, I ate at the Agora Restaurant, right outside the hotel, when you step outside the front door. Tsipouradiko is also a great place to eat( right behind the hotel, if you exit the hotel and turn right)

The hotel is fine, not luxurious but budget; it's an old place and has character. We had a room at the front with a great view of the port. The windows have lovely original-style shutters. The double room was fairly small with a basic bathroom and shower, hot water, just liquid soap dispensers, four towels and four pillows; everything you need basically. It was comfortable for a sleep and you could shut out noise at night with double-glazed windows. Please note contrary to other reviews, there is no buffet breakfast, but the Agora downstairs will cater for your needs. At night the Agora just across the road had good service, great atmosphere and a live Greek duo. The entrance lobby is tiny; you have to take the grand stairs or a quirky little lift to reception on the first floor. The Konstantinoupolis is right in the old town. You can see the 'new' castle from there. There is a taxi rank and a kiosk directly opposite.

An old style hotel convenient for the town etc. very welcoming staff. So glad they had a lift as the reception is on the 1st floor and bedrooms on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. Mattress sunk in the middle so we did not have the best sleep. Found the shower quite dangerous as you are stood in a hip bath.

I sent my 85 yo father to stay here for two weeks. While he was there he fell, Chrisitna at reception couldn't have been more helpful and she kept me in the loop all the time he was there. Dad said he couldn't fault the hotel and the staff, everyone was so helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very comfortable. I think I will be going to stay there myself in 2022.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a room with a sea view. It is a character property with all of the quirky qualities that go with it. Our room was basic with 2 comfy twin beds. Both the fridge and air conditioner were quiet and did not wake us up at all. There was a small wardrobe. The sea view was lovely and we had a little balcony which was big enough to stand on. The bathroom was large with a weird extremely small bath with a shower over. The lighting wasn't great, it was a little dark, but everything was very clean. There would have been noise from the busy road and bars underneath, but we slept with the double glazed windows closed and the air conditioning on and we didn't hear a thing. The location is good here, you are very close to all of the shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions of the town.

The hotel has a nice old atmosphere and is looking quite clean. The older lady behind the reception was nice and kind! I got an upgrade, which was a pleasant start! As it was quite hot, I opened the window. Only to realize that it was badly maintained and wouldn't close properly anymore. The same applies to the bathroom door, which wouldn't close either. The bed was large, soft and very comfortable! So I was expecting a good night of sleep. But than it became clear that the place was very noisy. I could hear my neigbours conversation almost literally and the refrigerator was quite loud as well. That last sound was easily solved by unplugging the fridge. Sounds from outside weren't bad, despite what I read from other reviews. The cleaners were very loud and noisy in the morning and they actually woke me up whilst they were just doing their job. If you don't mind the noisy part, I would recommend this hotel as it is perfectly located in the city center. I personally avoided their breakfast after the bad reviews, but there are plenty of nice(ly priced) bakeries nearby.

It's probably easiest to agree with everyone else. This is a quirky, old, idiosyncratic hotel with steep staircases, a cramped lift, tiny bathrooms, basic furnishings, uneven floors and a general appearance of faded grandeur. However, it's located in an ideal part of town, the staff were all helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the air-conditioning was super cool, breakfast was better than ok and the price was far cheaper than the other town centre hotels. On the flip-side, it's not a hotel for anyone less than agile. The staircase is steep, the lift only takes 2 people and you need to be fairly nimble to get into and move around the bathroom. I'd happily go back.
