Torre del Parco is a medieval fortress dated back in the 15th century and located in the heart of Lecce, just a few steps away from the historic city centre and a few kilometres away from the most dreamy beaches of the Salento coast. The historic hotel is located inside the ancient monastery which was built in the 600 on the ruins of the 15th century complex composed by the Tower, the Prince's Palace, the base of the state's mint and the Court. Our luxury rooms, finely furnished with antiques but also equipped with all the modern comforts have direct access to the Relax Area where you can enjoy a regenerating massage from our qualified staff. Our rich sweet and savoury breakfast buffet and our expert staff wishes you good morning with fruits, pastries, homemade cakes, jam, fresh fruit juices, hot bread with salami and cheese, omelettes and typical products from Salento like the famous "Pasticciotto" and "Cornetto from Lecce". Our breakfast also includes live cooking preparations with fresh products according to your taste and preference. Gluten-free products are also available.

Torre del Parco hosted the most perfect day of our lives. Every detail was well thought out, the staff was attentive, the food was amazing and the setting and rooms were magical. It was perfect for our small wedding (about 35 guests), but I'm sure it would work just as well for larger parties. There were a few thunderstorms during the day and the staff worked quickly to make sure everything could go smoothly. I would recommend it as a wedding venue, hotel accommodation or any other celebration - I have full confidence that whatever the team at Torre del Parco are asked to do, they will deliver it! All rooms are fantastic and it feels like there are multiple venues in one - the moat, the tower, the terrace, the rooms, the garden, and all the halls. Incredible. Thank you again, we'll see you soon!

As much of a venue for events and/or meetings as a hotel, there are lots of interesting spaces, from the turret room, to the terrace over the street. There is parking nearby, which is great if you are driving, since parking would be a challenge if staying within the walls of old Lecce. It is about a 1 km walk to the gates of the city, but could take a taxi if that is too far. The room was really comfortable and all staff was very helpful.

We booked this hotel last minute as our original option in a small town was not able to accommodate dinners during the low season and all the local restaurants were shut. This hotel is located on the edge of the old city of Lecce, an easy walk in to the old city. Staff were all helpful and able to provide suggestions for restaurants to visit. Room was clean and comfortable. We could hear our neighbours as they came back but after that the room was quiet and we didn’t have any problems sleeping. Breakfast was excellent. They have four options to choose from and the two we tried were delicious. Yoghurt, fruits, cereals, pastries were also provided. We would stay here again if visiting.

Torre is an interesting historical place. Aside from the cylindrical castle, it is relatively easy to miss. Even easier to miss is how to enter the property, which is through an iron gate on the right side of the street, with the castle on your left. Press the bell to the right of the gate and you enter a surprisingly beautiful courtyard which leads to the historic property. Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. Rooms are large and the bathroom is modern, with lots of hot water and a nice shower. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair in their beautiful dining rooms. The old town of Lecce is a 15-minute walk down the boulevard, which can be a bit unnerving at night, as it is rather dark. The old town is large, and the baroque architecture is fascinating. As a hotel it covers all the bases. The major issue with Torre is it is a venue for events. There were two events during our three-night stay, one a lively gathering with a DJ and the other a quieter dinner party. Woe to you if you are a light sleeper and there is a wedding or other large event, as the people and noise will fill the space and your quiet night. Perhaps you can get lucky and be invited as a guest, or just gate-crash. Unfortunately, there is no way to know if there will be an event during your stay, so it is a roll of the dice as to the level of tranquility you will experience. I was mindful of this and opted for mid-week, which still resulted in some events.

Luxury wedding venue with some rooms that are delightful. There's no public bar area or service outside the wedding but really not needed. Greats rooms and to be recommended, not sure it would be my choice if not attending an event. Amazing food and fabulous breakfast

Absolutely amazing hotel. Rooms are well appointed and make you feel like you’re a guest in a castle, because you are! Breakfast is an experience - you can choose from a few different menus each day. There is metered street parking right around the corner from the hotel and it is a short walk to the main old town area of Lecce. My parents and husband arranged for a surprise for my birthday in our room when we arrived.

Nice hotel in well converted historic house. Room was nice and an easy 10 minute stroll into the old town. Despite many comments on parking, really easy and 2 euro all day! Breakfast is absolutely amazing both quality and quantity sat in a nice courtyard. Service was also exemplary with Valeria doing a wonderful job every morning to look after us with her cheery style and smile to greet us

We were very excited when we checked into this hotel. It is very unique - a castle that is converted into a hotel. It is quaint, with beautiful gardens and many common areas to sit and relax. It would be a 5 star, with the exception that it is also a very popular place for weddings. We stayed 2 nights and both of them had wedding receptions. Our room (Room P) was 10 feet away from one area of the reception. We were told at check in that it would be over by 10 pm - with great surprise - we returned at 10:30 from dinner and it was all shut down and quiet. However, the second night wedding started playing loud music for the cake cutting at about 12:30 am - we had to go down to reception - and the offsite manager already had complaints from other guests and was dealing with it. It shut down shortly after that. They did give us a small discount on the room. I bring this up to make people aware. I am still glad we stayed there and if there was a way to give a 4.5, I would have. It is a great place to stay!

Beautiful historic hotel, with a fantastic group of employees. The breakfast was incredible! (breakfast Tip: they have a menu with 4 different options to choose from; while it is fantastic, with fresh fruit, fresh pastries, eggs, meats, cheese, etc., etc. You can also write down what you would like; otherwise you will have way too much food and an incredible amount of pastries [really delicious - but way too much]) The hotel is within walking distance to the historic old town; there is limited parking within the hotel grounds and the hotel staff is very helpful with suggesting street parking (both free and reasonable metered parking). A VERY good stay at this hotel!

We had to travel to fly to Lecce via Milano. We were allowed to fly from BCN to Milaon, but not from Milano to Bari because of a change of Covid regulation in Italy that same day. Even though we called 24h ahead explaining the situation and cancelling the reservation, they still charged the full 3 nights Yes, I know that's what the rate said. But considering the current situation, travelling is difficult enough, we should all be a bit flexible. All the other hotels where we should have stayed gave partial refund, even though some of them did not have to Just to let fellow travellers know, zero covid flexibility
