Dimora San Giuseppe is a historic house surrounded the city’s beautiful baroque architecture in the centre of Lecce, right in the heart of Salento. This stunning luxury home is in the charming Palazzo Libertini, behind Piazza Sant’Oronzo and just a short walk from Piazza Mazzini. Dimora San Giuseppe is one of Lecce’s most charming squares set against the backdrop of a city full of history, culture and magic originally built on ancient Roman amphitheater ruins, which are still visible today attracting thousands of tourists year after. You can comfortably step out of the door immediately into wonderful streets of the ancient historic center without ever being too far from your room.
Great location and beautifully appointed rooms. The bathroom was amazing. Nice breakfast. Christian went out of his way to meet us early, and was very welcoming. Nice restaurants and sights close by. Parking is a ways from the B and B, but several options available.

Great location in the centre near everything. The room was stunning and big and attention to detail in all ways. We were so surprised for the price. Again parking is not easy but once you ask for advice and park at parkejoo secure parking it was great!! The breakfast was so beautiful and the terrace and facilities are exceptional. Directly opposite is a traditional restaurant and so bloody awesome. Highly recommend this accommodation in all ways . Divine

We could not imagine a better place to stay in Lecce. Our “Suite San Giuseppe” was one of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. They only have 5 rooms and recently they renovated all of them. Great communication via WhatsApp. We drove in from Matera and arrived about 130p and parked briefly in front of the hotel to leave our luggage and then directed to nearby street parking. Be sure to download the EasyPark app as it is widely used in this area. We were fortunate to have nice weather and be able to enjoy their lovely breakfast on their terrace overlooking a park and the Chiesa Santa Chiara. One night we enjoyed dinner at Mamma Elvira right nearby ( must book ahead) Everyone at this hotel was so helpful and accommodating. Follow them on Instagram to see beautiful photos of the property. Highly recommend!…

I'm writing this as a solo traveler, but I felt very unsafe at this hotel for many reasons. The location is great (right in the city center), but you must enter the hotel through a two-car garage and enter a very small elevator with a key card (once checked in). Staff does not stay there in the evening, so if your key card does not work (which happened to a couple staying there), you're standing in the dark in an alley. There are restaurants nearby, but I hadn't even sat down (outside) at a table waiting for my room to be ready when I was approached by a man selling trinkets and being very persistent. Once inside my room, I was given one towel, the TV didn't work, and I had to ask for the WIFI code. There were no instructions inside regarding how to turn the heat down in the room, so the room was very warm. The shower leaked, so there was water on the floor in the bathroom. The only positive was the staff person was very nice. I will also add the parking is in a new garage, but it's 10 minutes away (not that big of a deal) but getting into the garage and getting out was not for the faint of heart. The entry/exit was a spiral and ridiculously narrow. I had to get help from the parking attendant to drive my car out of the garage. Needless to say, the whole experience was horrible, and I left Southern Italy and came back to the US. I believe if the hotel had been a nice experience, my view of Lecce would have been very different than what it is now. …

You can't beat the location of this place, just off one lovely little square full of restaurants and bars and only 3-4 minutes walk from the main square (Roman Ampitheatre). Rooms very pleasant. Terrace would be lovely in summer/autumn though a bit nippy in mid November. They give you a list of recommended restaurants (good) but the verbal recommendations even better.

We stayed here for a few nights on our recent trip to Puglia, arriving on my birthday. The team at Diamora San Giuseppe were fantastic from arrival to departure, including a great varied breakfast each day on the roof terrace. Our room was comfortable and well furnished, we knew it was quite small but it had an amazing bathroom and two balconies. We were warned there were bars nearby so their might be some noise, but we didn't have an issue, the doors and shutters blocked the noise. The location is great and the roof terrace is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the views across Lecce. Will be top of our list when we are next in Lecce.

Perfect location for visiting the historic center of Lecce. Rooms with very high ceilings, and a nice rooftop for a copious and delicious breakfast, or for a quiet afternoon break, overlooking the picturesque plaza and church of Santa Chiara. Our room being up on the third floor mitigated the nightlife noise. The congenial staff suggested several great dining options. If you are coming by car I suggest downloading the EasyPark app which works with nearby city street parking. We were able to find parking in a five minute walk from the dimora.

We stayed a few nights here and it felt so perfect. The hosts are so helpful and lovely people. Loved the breakfasts in the morning. Very fresh food. We would definitely go back. It felt like our home for a few days. Chilled in the center of Lecce.

We stayed here for two nights and below is a summary of what I would share about our stay. Pros Location is perfect (although it is a bit hard to find) Historic building with both elevator and stairs Breakfast Nice terrace AC worked well Cons Small room near the lobby (small even for European standards) Loud restaurants nearby Limited amenities Service was inconsistent No onsite parking even though it says otherwise on this site For me the cons outweigh the pros for a romantic getaway. If you are seeking easy access to nightlife, this would be a good spot.

I can't say enough about the staff and how welcoming they are. The people at the Dimora San Giuseppe were very nice and helped us to plan anything that we needed, in additional they sugested a nice and great place where to spend our holidays in Salento (Restaurants, Beaches & archeologic places). We slept in an amazing and luxur room with all confort. Our breakfast have been PHENOMENAL because everything it's fresh and healthy. Location is close everything around downtown than It's so easy run around there for the tourist trip and come back to rest before a nice dinner in some amazing restaurant that are all around the palace. COVID-19: We saw a full activity by the staff to prevent any issue with the virus, that was very confortable for our brain in order to think only about to live our vacation. Dear Marco & Simona we will come soon at your amazing Hotel because there we fill like at home. (for them "clean and fragrant environment" are the keyword) David & Elisheva…
