The Luxury Family Hotel Royal Palace is a boutique five-star hotel located in the historical part of Prague called Lesser Town (Malá Strana). This is one of Prague’s safest neighbourhoods, full of Czech Government offices and foreign Embassies. The Lesser Town also became a UNESCO historical heritage site in 1993. The building was built in the 19th century in neo-renaissance style. It is the ideal location for anyone who enjoys sightseeing or walking around the city. Both Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge are within a short walk of the hotel. The Royal Palace provides perfect luxury accommodation for business trips due to its location immediately adjoining the Ministry of Finance and close to other important buildings. On the other hand, the unique view from the rooms means the hotel is also ideal for romantic weddings, honeymoons and magical holidays.

The best hotel in Prague. My family and I were very pleased with the location and breakfast. Professionalism of employees and their good attitude towards us. We also liked the sauna and the view from the balcony of old Prague.

I looked at atleast 50 properties in old town area before booking this one. I booked this one because it clearly said, "ROOM WITH A OLD CITY or PALACE VIEW". When we arrived, we got rooms with a giant WALL for view. The reason we chose to live on the other side of old town Prague was coz we were promised a view of the old town from this side. Now such mistake happen but what I didn't appreciate, is how the hotel handled the situation. They refused to help us. There was absolutely no remorse or empathy in the manager's voice. They asked me to PAY more money to get rooms with a view. They tried to blame me saying we didn't request for the room with a view when our booking description clearly said this room comes with a view of the old town or palace. The breakfast was utter rubbish at this property. Instead of buffet they chose to serve at the table. A set menu for all 3 days that we were there. We got 3 grapes, an orange wedge and a dry tasteless croissant. Some cold cut meat and cheese right under my nose without asking about my meal preference. I am VEGAN! I don't eat eggs, but for those who do, you gotta pay for eggs thought breakfast is INCLUDED. I guess it is as included as the room with a view. A great hotel with such potential, perhaps they need new management.

+ Good location + Nice classy design - EXTREMELY POOR breakfast and very rude staff serving it (rushing you to finish the 2 pieces of butter and jam...) - For one day the heater was broken (3 degrees Celsius night) - For one day there was no hot water - I could not take a shower in a "5 star" hotel !!! - Air conditioning cannot be controlled from the room - sometimes it blasts cold air at full power in the middle of the night - Bathroom sink was clogged, filling up after 1 minute of running water

We had a great time in the hotel. The rooms were great and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom big enough. Everything was very clean. We had a fantastic view from our room! The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, with everything you need - only the scrambeld eggs could have been better.

We chose this hotel due to its location and historic appeal. Our expectations were met on both fronts. But it was the entire staff of the hotel that blew us away! They were very helpful and genuinely cared. Nothing was too much of an ask and they went out of their way to look after us every day! We felt like royalty! Upon checking in to our room, we were surprised by a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit. The room was full of historic charm with a view of Prague Castle! It was very quiet as the windows are double glazed and the room door is specially insulated. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we really enjoyed the generous buffet with omelettes made to order and assorted Christmas cookies throughout our stay. The hotel is located in a less crowded part of Prague - Lesser Town (Mala Strana). However, it is only about 5-10 minutes by foot to Charles Bridge. There are also a lot of great restaurants and bars in the close vicinity. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a magical stay in Prague!
