Hotel Residence Retezova is perfectly located in Old Town. It is a short walk to the Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock and the Old Town Square. The apartment we stayed in fit 4 people comfortably. The apartment was well designed and very clean. The staff were very helpful! I loved everything about this place. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful place! Having been to Prague 5 times previously this was the best accommodation by far. Location excellent walking distance to old town, new town, everything. Facilities excellent we stayed in room 3. Kitchen was fully equipped for breakfast and lunch. Staff was amazing! Sean was very helpful and really helped us out with forgetting something after we departed. It was December when we visited so the entire place was beautifully decorated including a real Christmas tree in our room. Cozy coffee shop next door. There is a parking garage about 6 minute walk away to park your car. Even had air conditioning in the rooms, along with sound proofing windows. Perfect!

Let me get to the point. I love this hotel. Everything about it. It's in the middle of everything, yet somehow quiet. It's a full apartment--that's right, frig, burners and oven, microwave, coffee pot, kettle.... Even a separate bedroom. Ready? Two baths! You heard me right. I have my own bathroom and my husband has his. Tomorrow at check out time they're going to find me barricaded in here refusing to leave! I love this place. The service was also lovely--professional and sincere. I don't want to leave.... Wow! Quite a find!

Retezova is a short walk to most places in Old Town Prague. It also sits near but off of the crowded, busy and loud main road Karlova. It is safe, close to great food and shops and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Our room was small and had a loft so please check to make sure what room you have and that you can do ladder-like steps to get to your bed. It was fine for us and we enjoyed it. There is not A/C so plan accordingly. They provided a fan for us and we were fine in June.

The location is just a couple minutes walk from Old Town Square so pretty perfect. The building is a lovely old place with large rooms that are full of character. But a little dated. It could do with an investment of money in re-decorating and updating of furniture, but obviously that would increase the cost as well and the prices currently for location and size of rooms is extremely reasonable. We had one suite on the ground floor with a small garden area alongside. Garden could also do with a tidy up but not bad. We also had the two bedroom suite on the top floor which also had the cute balcony which overlooks the church. The view was lovely but again the decking on the balcony could do with renovating. This suite has a huge living room with small kitchen area, two decent bedroom and two decent bathrooms. So overall, a really nice two days, loved Prague and this location worked great for us. For the price was was spot on, but would love to see how special it could be if renovated.

Great hotel. Great location. Great staff. They emailed to mention that there are 12 steps to go up before the elevators, so it wasn’t unexpected when we got there. They were incredibly helpful in booking our tours, cars and restaurants. Our room felt very authentic, the bathrooms were a little old however very clean, and it went well with the interior of our room. The only thing I would say is the beams are very low. Members of our group were 5ft10 and hit their heads multiple times, other than that I 100% recommend.

I cannot comment on the hotel as such, although the reception did look a little tatty, but after making a firm reservation for the only ground floor apartment - and confirming this by phone - it is not pleasant to arrive only to find you've been dumped on the fourth floor! My wife and I are both "of a certain age" and could not struggle up the stairs with four suitcases (no lift), and then have to face this climb every day. Agreed, under pressure from us they did find us alternative accommodation, but this really did ruin our first evening in Prague, a city we have been wanting to see.

Our family of 5 stayed in the London suite for 6 nights and we were SO glad we chose the Hotel Residence Retezova! The location is ideal - basically directly between Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge, with Josefov (the Jewish Quarter) and Wenceslas Square within easy walking distance as well. Retezova Street lets out onto one of the main pedestrian arteries but the other end turns into a pedestrian-only path, so you have the sense of being in the middle of things, but there's no traffic noise at night - it's a win/win! Our room was spacious, beautiful, super-clean, and in excellent repair. The little kitchen was so nice to have, and we all enjoyed the rooftop patio. Each room in the suite has its own (very effective) A/C unit, and we were VERY grateful for our nice cool rooms each night! Anna and David at the front desk are both amazing - so kind and helpful, always with a warm greeting and happy to assist with spot-on recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again.

Really good place to stay if you are looking for somewhere in the old town. Nice cosy rooms and staff were really helpful. We were pleased with our room especially how quiet it was considering how close we were to the centre.
