Fully equipped apartment suitable for longer stays. Parking permit is cheap (compared to other hotels and apartments in the area) and covers all Praha 1 blue areas, so you can always find a parking close to the apartment. All staff members are very helpful and doing their best to assist.

We was very happy in those apartments because it was functional, very well localisation next to the importants places, the personnel were very kind and helpful .. The only thing was not enough cleaning but it wasn't very important . And we really appreciate the gift for the new year eve (even if we don't drink alcohol, lol) We recommend your place for sure .

Prague is an awesome city. It's very easy to get around. Lots to see. This is the 2nd time we have rented fun Prague City Apartments. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We stayed in Karolina this time. The location was perfect for us. Walking distance from old Town. It was very clean and very spacious. If we go back to Prague, we will definitely stay there again. Prague City Apartments has several buildings. Check them out. You'll find something you like in the location you want. All their agents are fluent in English, and there's someone there 24/7. You can chat online any time day or night.

We had a wonderful stay at Karolina apartments. From check in to departure it was very smooth and efficient. Organizing transportation to and from the train station was a bonus and the apartment was clean, modern, beds were comfortable and kitchen very well stocked for cooking. We were in the 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and it had an extra toilet. Lovely touch was the Christmas tree..... thoroughly recommend and we hope to be back!

I will start by stating that we are returning customers, we have been coming to Karolina Residence for a number of years and the reason for writing this review is due to the constant degradation of the apartment and maintenance. It feels like the company that manages this apartment (they have others as well), is doing the bare minimum to keep the place going as a holiday rental, instead they are focusing on long term rentals. But I wish to start from the positive to explain why we keep returning: 1. Location - it is really the best. If you are a newcomer to Prague, you can walk anywhere from here. If you need the metro/tram it is a 5 min walking distance. Many pubs and restaurants are near by. Considering all that it is still quiet at night! 2. Spacious apartments for a decent price. The rooms are large and comfortable and for the price of 110 EUR per night in this area it is a good find. 3. 24h desk help - this particular apartment is located right next to the "Prague City Apartment" office and there is someone there 24/7. It is very convenient considering the fact that apartments are usually private and you have no immediate assistance. You can check-in at any hour, you don't have to coordinate, pick-up the key at another location and etc. You can order groceries and packages and they are happy to deliver them to your apartment. Now to the negative side: 1. When booking, you select a specific apartment # because they differ and after coming a few times you already have your favorite. But - that doesn't mean you will get what you ordered. In about 40% of the cases the apartment we booked was occupied by a long term tenant and we were given a different apartment. Since we book a head of time (sometimes even 5 month in advance) it is clear that things can change, but we expect, at least, the courtesy of notification in advance. This time we received no notification about the apartment change that was done in November (we came mid-Dec) and when asked why, we only got a shoulder shrug. If you cannot guarantee the apartment, don't offer the option to select. 2. The maintenance of the appliance and the furniture is low. Due to a broken shelf on the fridge door, we spent our first morning cleaning 2 bottles of beer (we bought) of the floor, since the shelf simply fell off from the weight (the bottles were placed there by the employee who collected our grocery order). The drawers in the closet space are very hard to open, and it has been like this for years. 3. Wi-Fi... it is absurd that at the end of 2019 you can't get a decent signal when you have an access point in every room. The signal went on and off all the time, even their own "smart" TV couldn't work with it. The so-called (hard to believe it actually happened) router change the technician did after 3 days of complaining, did absolutely nothing. 4. All in all it feels like they are in it for the long run, meaning if you stay for long. Another small example is the fact that the office used to have complementary coffee and tea and it is gone now. It was so nice coming from a flight, cold and tired (we only come during the winter) and having a nice hot cup of tea while preforming the check in. But if you plan on long term tenants - there is no need for that. All in all - up until now I guess the pros outweigh the cons but, I'm sure I will look harder next year for a replacement.

Residence Karolina was the perfect choice for our needs. 2 couples travelling together, the layout of the 2 bedroom apartment was ideal for what we were looking for. We had our privacy and separate bathrooms, but also common areas for hanging around/eating/watching tv. At first i had thoughts over location, thought i needed somewhere nearer the old town but i was so wrong. We were given a map at reception and realised that using other streets behind apartment we just needed 4-5 minutes for Charles Bridge, the old town and Wenceslas Square. Tesco just across the street, a mall/Paul/Starbucks/Vapiano all in 2 minutes walk. Location was absolutely amazing. Apartment was literally spotless, fully equiped, we were really impressed with everything. Even had my Nespresso machine! Security level at the building entrance was really good as well. Marketa was a star during our booking, Yacoub welcomed us after midnight and gave us a tour in the apartment explaining everthing, the heating was already on for us, and Vikki saved us when we were in need of a taxi kms away from the apartment. The Live chat is really good and felt more safe that you could communicate 24/7 with someone. Whatsapp communication 24/7 is also available, so Customer Satisfaction is really important to them. The whole experience was perfect for us, from check in to check out. The whole team at Residence Karolina was so inviting, smiling and helpful, not something you see often in Prague! Thank you for everything.

We stayed 6 nights in this spacious, clean 2 BR, 2 bath apt. Perfect location, near grocery store and 1 block from the Danube. Trams 2 minute walk. We used the free pick up at airport offer from Prague City Apts which was as promised. We could not check in (8 am arrival), but they kept our bags for us and we spent a number of hours getting oriented and returned to access our apt. The Prague City office is in this building, so we stopped in a number of times to ask questions. They were helpful and polite. We had 1 problem with a lamp that was fixed by the next day. We used the washer and drying rack. Had everything we needed for a week. Highly recommend. 4 Canadian ladies in their 60s.

The apartments are excellent. Very comfortable and spacious. The beds are extremely good. Everything was spotlessly clean. Location is perfect. Short walk to all sightseeing spots. Metro and tram nearby as well as various supermarkets and mini-markets. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. The offices are open long hours and all staff very helpful. Only issue we had was with the blinds or lack of. Coming from southern Europe we are used to blinds on the windows and found there was a lot of light coming in at 5 in the morning when the sun came up. Problem largely solved by changing apartments. Complimentary airport transfer. All in all, 10 out of 10!

We took one of the smaller apartments available and I have to say that we were delighted. The apartment was well furnished and equipped, clean and is very well situated - just far enough away from the tourist centre of the old town that it is quieter (and there is less of the usual tourist inflation of prices about.) The staff were superb - both in terms of the apartments and in recommending various local facilities to us. They also managed to persuade Czech Airlines to finally release our baggage, which had been sat at the airport for 24 hours (having missed our connection on the way out.) You are within easy walking distance of the old town and Wenceslas Square, and bridges over to the other side of town (although avoid Charles Bridge due to crowding, unless you really need the photos!) There is a reasonable sized Tesco and several nice restaurants (we recommend both the Kozlovna U Paukerta, which we used extensively, and the Narodni Kavarna for breakfast) close by. If you are planning on cooking in the apartment (we didn't - had continental breakfast in most days but nothing hot), the utensils provided are a little limited, albeit perfectly acceptable Ikea quality. This may be because it was a 1 bedroom, if you are in a larger apartment there may be more.
