This site unsuitable for those with limited mobility. There are lots of steps, often without handrails. Some alternative slopes are very steep. Otherwise I liked it there. Not all rooms have aircon or lift access. The rooms with aircon were good, if a little shabby. This is a very cheap resort which has attracted some terrible reviews so I wasn’t expecting much and found myself pleasantly surprised. The food was as you would expect for the price and quite acceptable. There’s a nice Moroccan restaurant which is bookable at no extra cost. Note though that most nations feed their children whatever the adults eat, so you won’t find chicken nuggets, fish fingers or burgers! I did see one father who nipped across the road to fetch a Macdonalds for his son. There are several pools, if you look for them , with sun beds. There’s a bar at the main pool where a very good team of entertainment staff keep things happening. The hotel isn’t well situated if you like to wander round local shops and areas. It’s in a line of other hotels mainly. My friend walked to the beach in about 20 mins but it was uncomfortably hot on the walk. Taxis are cheap if you want to visit markets or shopping areas. Cash was a problem. You can get the local currency in the airport or the hotel but it’s always in large denomination notes. There’s no cash used in the hotel, but staff expect to be tipped (porters as you arrive and leave) and can be a bit intimidating about it, so you need to get hold of some smaller denomination notes somehow!! You can have a pleasant week here if you try!!

This hotel is terrible. I wouldn't go back if it were free. Firstly, there are very few rooms with air-con despite advertising it. According to the front desk, the rooms with air-con are reserved for Russians only. The buffet is the same mediocre food every day. Its more like a canteen, and there is only one drink dispenser for a hotel with 700 rooms, so you can imagine the queues. We had to buy drinks to bring to meals with us. There is no water available either, it has to be bought outside the complex. There is almost no wifi, again despite the advertising. While the housekeeping staff are very nice and friendly, unfortunately the same can't be said for the rest of the staff. The men at reception are downright rude, particularly to women and children. Our children wanted to play pool, but the slot was broken so they lost their money. They went to let reception know, and they were told to go away. I went up to complain, and was told there was nothing they could do. I can't understand treating paying guests like dirt. Similarly, the bartenders serve men first, despite women queuing longer. Women are ignored until there are no men left. The last day of our holiday we were told to get out of the pool because they put too much chlorine in it. It's a total shambles of a hotel, I'm giving it one star only because I can't give it zero. Take my advice and go somewhere else!

The hotel is lovely including 5 specialist restaurants covering various cuisines. On fully inclusive you get to eat in each of these once and other night in the oasis restaurant . What we didn't know on the first night is you must arrive between 7 and 7:15 pm to be served. The food was excellent The hotel was clean My only complaint is the leather shop on site at the entrance to the complex: fabrique sur measure. I ordered a leather coat, made to measure ready for the date I was due to leave. In the mean time I went down and bought a leather belt. I returned to my room with the belt and on closer examination saw the quality was poor. I did the recommended lighter test that they all do to supposedly prove it is leather. The belt melted rapidly and then caught fire. I returned to the shop and showed the owner who insisted he was not aware they were plastic they were from and outside source and everything else in the shop was genuine leather. I began to place my lighter under other belts. He quickly stopped me saying they were also plastic. I moved around the shop with my lighter. The owner now offered me some truth and informed me which jackets and bags were plastic and which were leather. The owner has leather hides on the floor in the shop which he tells customers are used to make his products. He lies. The owner informed me that people cannot tell the difference between leather and plastic so what difference does it make. So why not tell people the truth. I returned to the shop on said date to collect leather jacket, having told the owner I would be doing the fire test. I was informed that my jacket was not ready as he insisted I had told him I would be there for a further 10 days. Another lie. The owner, who had a £40 deposit from me then argued that he should keep my deposit as he had already started cutting the fabric. Needless to say, I had my lighter on me and my deposit was returned. The man is a fraud he shows no respect.

You can tell the hotel itself shows some age. But everything works and the staff is always helpful. Our room didn't have air condition and it was situated with the view of the street (the L part of the hotel). We had to sleep with open balcony doors so after 11 pm it was a little harder to fall asleep because the street is very much alive since that time. But still it wasn't anything horrible. As for food, we had all inclusive programme. The food is plenty and I sincerely believe everyone can find what they like. Every day there was a wide selection of meats (chicken, turkey, lamb, beef and even pork) and a huge salad bar. Also many side dishes including potatoes, french fries, steamed vegetables etc. Also there was pasta, fruit and cakes. All Inclusive includes also snacks throughout the day and evening. Pleasant surprise was that every day we got a bottle of water at a reception. The drugstore in the hotel area is small but it offers almost everything you might need - soda, water, cigarettes, hygienic supplies, snacks, souvenirs etc. Wi-Fi connection is way better at the reception than at the main pool. But you don't want to run into people who use it for games..... As for drinks, we only drank non-alcoholic and they had Coca Cola post-mix machines, so it was good in taste. There's always red and white wine for dinner and the bars offer beer and various other alcoholic drinks including coctails. The hotel towels are clean and quite new. There's always a guy at the pool who can bring you parasols and loungers. The staff is overally pleasant and helpful, the cleaning service is awesome. We had towels changed every day, the room was sparkling clean every day, the toilet paper was also filled every day. We also received some flowers from the lady. Right outside the hotel there are various shops and restaurants and the beach is quite close. Overally our stay was really pleasant and we would love to come back someday.

this is the second time I have been here ..and the standards have declined a lot . food is good first few days but gets repetitive . the theme restaurants are great especially the Moroccan . you have to book asap ..staff wont tell you . in fact staff don't help much unless you pay them but they are friendly . watch out for scam market stall holders on site . work out the currency before you buy . I tried buying four spices , they wanted to charge me £19.00 lol. said no ty . pools are really nice ,I think the hotel is geared up for the French and german speaking people rooms are to unless your british , I will include a picture I took of wall tiles around the bed .... the rep was useless he only wanted to sell you trips full stop. and on the trips you were shown the poverty in morocco so felt guilty when not putting money in the basket when asked .and we went on the really naff buggy trek ..more like drive though villages and be grateful we don't live there . I really wanted to give a good review but its been a month of thinking and I cant ....sorry . morocco is a beautiful place please visit but at another hotel . o and they say wifi ....forget that there is no signal .

We booked this holiday at the last minute through Thomson so to be fair we expected it all to be ok. Upon arrival we were quickly booked in and shown to our room, which was a nice sized room with 3 single beds, bathroom with a good sized walk in shower and a separate toilet room and a balcony. The room had free tv a phone and a safe. The only thing was it was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift. The room was cleaned every day and the towels changed every day. We had a bit of a problem with ants, so complained at reception and we were left a can of rapid insect killer!!!! However the next morning the spray was taken away and the ants were back !!! There was no air con in the room and to be fair we could of done with some. The Pool areas were very good and there were plenty of sunbeds. there were 3 different pools, 2 quite and 1 noisy !! The 2 bars were both ok BUT the pool bar does not open on Thursday nights so you can have a virtually alcohol free cocktail at the poolside or go up to the reception bar although all the entertainment is down at the pool, very strange !!!! The restaurant !!! Well what can i say, my 7 year old son really struggled and basically lived on Hard chips, cucumber and pasta and moaned every time we went in. The restaurant DOES NOT cater for children at all. I can usually eat anything but all 3 of us ended up with bad tummys and spent a lot of time on the toilet. Breakfast was cereal and an omelette, didn't cater for british people who like a big fry up !! However our waiter was awesome, really looked after us.In the end we tried to avoid the restaurant and used the pannini bar and macdonalds. It says something when you start classing macdonalds as proper food !!! The Animation crew were brilliant. They worked tirelessy all day and night keeping us adults and the kids happy. At the end of the day would i return to this Hotel ?? Probably yes if i got i really good deal i'd go out on a night to eat, use the paninni bar during the day and have toast and cereal for breakfast and not use the restaurant.

I have stayed at both the Caribbean Village Tamlelt and Agador on various occasions, although the standards slid a few years back , I am happy to report that they are back up again. 3 Star rooms but cleaned everyday are comfortable enough. However the gardens and the complex are lovely, so much space and facilities. There is never a boring moment here as there is activity throughout the day, the animation team work hard to make your stay enjoyable. The restaurants will always have something you like as well as the 3 times daily buffet. The entertainment every evening is quite good especially for children. A lot of people will return time and time again to this hotel and its easy to see why. There is a private beach area also that serves soft drinks and you can buy ice creams there also. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. There are various pools to choose from, some quieter than others. There are many places in the complex to just slowly relax the day away or you can have the noise and activities next the to the main pool if you wish, the choice is yours. All-inclusive hotels anywhere never give 'top brand' drinks, however the beer and local wine are quite nice, and there are cocktail evenings also. The vodka is ok too. If you want a particular brand of drink then you could buy your own in duty free and bring it with you. There is food available in one of the restaurants more or less at any given time of day, so you will never go hungry. The Moroccan Restaurant is my favourite and also the seafood is good too. There are 5 star hotels that offer cheaper deals than this one but have no where near the same facilities and choice as the Caribbean Village, It offers something for everyone.

We went to this hotel in September 2011, the weather wasnt the best as it was quite cloudy on 4/7 days however still caught the sun through the clouds and it was warm enough to sit by the pool in a bikini!! The staff were lovely, especially the reps that done the dancing on the night and were there most of the day doing dancing and water aerobics. There is a wide variety of drinks available on the all inclusive. The food in the main restaurant is average but can be very repeatative every lunch and night!! You can reserve at the themed restaurants between 9am - 12pm and you can go and eat that night in there, the themed restaurants include moroccon, chinese and pizza place!! At 10/11pm they also serve hot pizza by the bar. You can also smoke a shesha for 50dirrhams (£5) The rooms are basic - all that you need really as when youre on holiday all you do is sleep in there, they are clean and tidy. There is a nightclub next door to the hotel that is very good!! The beach is no more than a 5 minute walk and is beautiful! I think the hotel is good value for money and you cant get better on the service and friendliness of most of the staff! Would recommend anyone to go!!!!
