Been back a few days after our week at this hotel. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The staff are are all wonderful from management to the ladies that clean the rooms. There are 3 outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool. Lots and lots of greenery, flowers and orange trees that surround all the outside areas. Plenty of sunbeds for all and bali Beds. But alas reserving sunbeds is rife. There are notices everywhere asking not to reserve sunbeds before 8m, but I did notice that this was happening from 7.15am. Rooms: Ours was modern and spacious. Lovely bathroom. Beds were a little hard. Plenty of storage space for your clothes etc.. Nice large balcony table and 2 chairs. Food is good. Breakfast was my favourite. Plenty of choice. If your looking for a full English though, you will be disappointed. Lunch was good also and again plenty of choice. Evening meal however was a little disappointing. A bit same old same old for us. Very long Q for dishes cooked by the chef which was always pasta. I got the feeling that the evening meal experience was akin to a canteen. Evening entertainment was good with lots going on. There's not a lot outside the hotel. But Marrakech is not to far away. Whilst we enjoyed 99% of our stay, we would not stay here again

Hotel's Favorite
We have just got back from a weeks stay a Tikida Garden’s. We arrived at the hotel around 10pm, check-in was speedy and the hotel gave our drinks and had put a continental buffet on for new arrivals. Our room was lovely, clean, tidy and spacious. The hotel grounds and gardens were always immaculate which is a credit to all the staff who work endlessly hard each day. Also, the decor around the hotel, particularly reception is stunning! The waiters were always friendly and welcoming! Mohammed is always there to welcome you to breakfast and dinner with a smile and our waiter Abdelghani was fantastic, he looked after us so well and kept our glasses full! The facilities around the hotels were fabulous! All pools were great with plenty of sunbeds, we chose to sit by the quiet pool and found it very relaxing. We never struggled to find sunbeds in the morning, there were still plenty around by 8:30am during our stay. The food was great, sometimes it did feel a little repetitive but that does not take away from the quality. As vegetarians we never struggled to find something to eat and always enjoyed it. As others have mentioned, the cocktails could be improved. For this standard of hotel, we did feel that they were a little disappointing. However, we didn’t struggle as the white wine, beer and gin & tonic were great. We took the shuttle bus into Marrakech one day, this was a great extra. We spoke to Darren the TUI rep before venturing out and he was very helpful with his all of his knowledge of the area! The gym is run by an external company and whilst well equipped, we feel I would be much more beneficial to guests if the opening time was earlier than 9am. Agreeing with a recent review, we also feel that it would be nice for the rescue donkey to have a pen/enclosure. That aside, it was great to see how well looked after he was! He proved very popular with many guests visiting him each day.

This was our second time at RIU Tikida Garden (we first visited in October 2022). The hotel was busy, evening entertainment was much better than when we visited previously, and the staff always pleasant and friendly. I would say there aren’t enough sun loungers and pool boys are not enforcing the “don’t reserve” policy. If you head down at 9:30 it can be extremely difficult to find anywhere. On day 3 I was taken ill and taken to hospital by ambulance at 5am. We tried to call reception a few times but in the end my boyfriend had to run down to ask the security guard to phone an ambulance (which he did without hesitation). I was admitted immediately and told I had severe food poisoning (I am vegetarian and we had only eaten at the hotel). I previously had cancer a couple of years ago and unfortunately the food poisoning affected my levels that I’m medicated for so badly I was in an extremely bad way. The hospital confirmed it’s likely this was from vegetables that had not been cleaned properly. I was on a drip, placed on a number of tablets to last me up until I return to the UK. The TUI rep Cassie and Abderrahim went above and beyond to help my boyfriend who was having to travel between the hospital and hotel to visit me. Overall I understand this can happen anywhere, but I think more care needs to be taken in ensuring the cleanliness of the food, and the hotel have not acknowledged that they were at fault. A beautiful hotel but unfortunately is letting itself down.

We came for a week for some sun, a few days were cold but gave us the opportunity to explore. We dont change money as the market and shops all take english or euros but you will get change in Durrams. Our room was nice size and very clean, found the bed hard and also the pillows and I dont know who started the trend but dont like the quilt pulled right up to the headboard with it all tucked in. A lot of hotels do this now plus double rooms are two singles rammed together with sheets tucked in tight. We did not have bath robes in our room as stated and the towels were small and thin. We are more than happy to re-use towels but no where to hang them in the spacious bathroom, extra rail would be handy. Beach towels we were given had holes in them. All need replacing. The hotel grounds were lovely and very well kept and made a nice walk round even if it was an excuse to see the donkey. The food was O.K. I like a salad for lunch but only boiled eggs to go with it but I asked and I was given some cheese one day for a change. The meat at dinner was not wonderful so had a lot of pasta and rice but the bread rolls were lovely, nice and fresh. Shame that not one pool was heated. Nice to sit and have a chat over a drink with other people before dinner but once the music starts you cant speak at all and have to shout at the bar tenders to order a drink. Was very disappointed not to have sparkling wine, first hotel ever not to do this, also at the bars no box with a selection of teabags.

Highly recommend this fantastic hotel. Room quality and facilities were superb. The restaurants and food quality was also excellent, with special mention to the waiting staff who went the extra mile to make us welcome and feel at home. We’d happily return and most likely will do again.

Such a wonderful hotel that we've decided to go back this year as well. Really lovely location about a 40 minute walk into town if you're energetic or there is a free bus service which takes you near to the center. The hotel has really lovely rooms and beautiful pools all set in grounds which are lovely to walk around. We had a lovely break for a few days without the children.

First time at this hotel and it won’t be the last! The hotel is kept clean and tidy. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from in a morning so never a rush to get one. The 1st and 2nd chefs were excellent with dealing with food intolerances - especially the 1st chef tariq who went above and beyond trying to make the gluten free bread taste a little better! As 2 women travelling we didn’t get the same attention as other people by the waiters/waitresses however this was no issue as we got our own drinks from the machines - the staff were still kind we just didn’t get the treatment others got. the cleaners did an excellent job at cleaning and restocking the room and were always friendly when seen, like all of the other staff. The shuttle bus into the markets was a lovely addition however the driver didn’t inform us where the actual markets were so if a first timer i’d suggest asking him! however they wasn’t to hard to find. The donkey is a lovely edition to the hotel - it is one of the gardeners animals and it gave us something to do till it got warmer in the mornings. the donkey appreciates an apple! The tui reps were always on hand for enquires and they gave good advice in the welcome meeting. overall a very pleasant stay at this hotel and hoping to return in the future!

Arrived just after lunch after an early hours start but were instantly made to feel very relaxed by some of the nicest staff we have encountered in many a holiday. Both the reps and hotel staff go above and beyond to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel was modern, clean and very well kept. The food was of a good quality and plenty of selection was available to suit all (Cant comment for Vegans etc). Plenty of sun loungers pool side so no great rush to grab the best spots. In all honesty we aren't ones for activities but there didn't seem to be all that much going on during the day but that didn't affect us at all. The path round the inside of the complex was exactly 1km so this gave a nice little walk past the Donkey and Tortoises to stretch the old legs. We took advantage of the free shuttle bus into Marrakech center on a couple of mornings. Well organized on time and a great touch from the hotel. The city center was all hustle and bustle even at this time but we never felt hassled or threatened at any time, only a little lost of a couple of times. The staff really are out of this world and for us a big shout out goes to El Habib who from our first day when ever he was on shift either breakfast dinner or evening meal looked after us, seating us bring drinks etc. We felt no pressure to tip anyone but did tip El Habib, the bar staff at both bars and the cleaning lady on the night we left. we will 100% be returning to this absolute little oasis, one of the best finds for some time.
