Detailed Reviews
The price of a single room was very cheap and you get more than expected with that money. Location is a bit off the main centre but within a walking distance. There are a few good restaurants and a couple of minimarkets very nearby and also money exchanges/atm’s. The breakfast was great with a variety of bread, fruits, juices and warm dishes plus they make omelettes by request 😊 I also used their laundry service that worked very well and was fast enough. There is no elevator and they have 5 floors so be prepared to walk a lot of stairs.

It was an excellent hotel in Cusco. Very close to the central square around 10 to 15 minutes (if you don't want to walk you can take a taxi for 6 soles) Quiet, safe, clean, and confortable place. They offer a very delicious continental breakfast, there is tea infusions on the 1st and third floors. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful with any questions you have: like places to visit. very confortable beds to rest specially after we come back from the rainbow mountain and Lake Humantay. Price is affordable and fair, I recommended very much, it was a nice stay while visiting the georgous city of Cusco. Thank you hotel Casa Real! I had a great experience! I'm definitely coming back to this place.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. They have done an amazing job from top to bottom. It is a testament to the fact that you can have a beautiful hotel with a perfect location and still set yourself miles apart with an amazing staff and wonderful service. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special. Everyone had a smile on their face and did everything they could to make us feel welcome.
The rooms are comfortable and incredibly well designed. I cannot say enough and could go on forever. I recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone.

Nice breakfast with fruit, salad, choice of hot cooked items, coffee, fruit juice. However, We paid extra for a spa room as we had come from a big hike from machu Picchu so doubled checked with receiption we had spa but after entering our room there was no spa. I spoke with reception and they said we do not have the spa room - they were not open and honest about the room as we were still paying same price for a room with no spa - not happy as obviously they double booked our room and had to sort compensation with booking.com - hotel did not even apologize. Infact, they took the room key off us and asked we paid first before being able to enter the room.

We had a lovely stay at Casa real hoteles. The breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly, always happy to help. The hotel is located 15min walk from plaza de armas, which is just far enough to be quiet but still close enough.

The pictures in this website don't do justice to how beautiful and cozy it is in real life, I just finished my tour and stayed there pre and post hiking and absolutely loved it. The bed was so comfortable, the hotel was nicely decorated and taken care of, and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend 100%.

INCLUSIONS: The hotel provides complimentary purified water (which we used daily to refill our water bottles), tea (including coca tea which helps prevent elevation sickness, Wi-Fi, airport pick up, luggage storage and breakfast.
We booked a couple overnight tours (Manu National Park & Machu Picchu) and day trips (horseback riding & rafting) so it was nice to use the hotel as a base. We left the bulk of our luggage there while away on local trips which was a huge convenience.
STAFF: The staff (especially the manager) was extremely helpful since we had him call all our tours to re-confirm them since I was unable to use my personal cell phone in Peru for local calls. They also provided local information about restaurants, money exchange, etc.
LOCATION: The hotel was about a 10-minute walk from the main plaza which is convenient since most of the tours drop off there. There was a laundry area nearby and walking to distance to plenty of restaurants. There was a karaoke bar next door that did get loud but was not every night and usually done by 9 or 10pm.
FOOD: We enjoyed the breakfast which included fresh fruit, juices, milk (white & chocolate), coffee, tea, cereal, yogurts, breads, jam, eggs, cheese, avocado and complimentary made to order items (ie omelets, pancakes). They had some other hot/warm items (ie boiled eggs, fried cheese, chicken salad on eggs, etc) which varied daily.
I would definitely stay there again if I was in Cusco.

Stayed here with a friend for a two night stay in Cusco. The purpose of our visit was to visit Machu Pitcchu so we wanted somewhere clean central and cheap. This ticked all the boxes. We took up the offer of the hotel transfer from the airport and the driver was waiting for us when we arrived. It took approx 5 mins drive from airport to hotel. When we pulled up outside in the taxi I did wonder what I had booked as it was literally a doorway next to a Chinese take away. When we went in through the main door we had to press the buzzer for secure entry into the reception area. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We were given a rather bulky room key and shown to our room on the 4th floor by a member of staff. The room was a twin with plenty of space. Large built in wardrobe, TV, phone and en suite bathroom with towels provided. The room was clean and warm. Beds were comfy with thick blankets and duvets. we paid $78 total for two nights B&B so were more than happy. The location of the hotel is good. It was a 5-10 min walk to Plas De Armas the main square in Cusco. The walk is uphill but it's not steep and its along Avenida el Sol. There are plenty of shops, bars and resturants on route and near the hotel. The only downside was at altitude the walk up 4 floors was hard work and at night the Karaoke bar next door was loud and went on quite late but we were so tired it didn't keep us awake. The taxi to the airport was 14 soles and reception were great at organising them for us. We didn't eat breakfast as we were up and out early both mornings. Hotel did offer a breakfast box for us but it wasn't there for us but we were not really bothered. They provide a water fountain and tea flasks on each floor. Overall a great stay, great value for money.

For what we paid this hotel was fine during our stay. The rooms were always clean and room was good size. The general feel was decent, maybe ever so slightly aged/run down. WiFi worked fine. The complimentary breakfast was good with all the main stuff and a choice of freshly made egg dishes.
The hotel is based on a main busy street with plenty of places to eat and convenience stores. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to the main square.
The hotel stored our bags in a secure location for free during a 5/day tour with no issues, even though we weren't coming back to this hotel.

When our taxi pulled up outside our hearts sank - the hotel entrance is a single door on a busy road and looked anything but inviting. However, you should never judge a book by the cover, as they say.
Once through the internal security door the entrance corridor opened onto a very pleasant reception area where we were provided with tea and were checked in quickly and efficiently before being shown to our room by the bellboy. The room was a good size and well presented with a large, smart and spotlessly clean bathroom. The shower was great, with endless hot water, and we even had hot water from the basin tap which was a first for our trip around Peru. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was generally quiet (we slept really well for our 3 night stay) although it has to be said that when people are in the corridors or on the stairs you do here them. Breakfast was by far the best we had experienced on our Peru travels over a two and a half week period and was buffet style with choice of juices, fresh fruit, cereals, cooked options, cold ham and cheese, breads, jams, cakes & pastries and tea or coffee. The breakfast room was also a big plus being light and sunny, located on the top floor of the hotel with great views across the city all round. The hotel is located in the Wanchaq neighbourhood, just off Avenida del Sol, and is a straightforward 15 minute walk to the glorious Plaza de Armas. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the Inka Express bus terminal for those travelling on to Puno and Lake Titicaca.
All in all this is definitely an hotel as opposed to a hostel but still provides its services at a very realistic price. We were travelling around Peru on a budget and this place made for a very welcome change without breaking the bank.
