The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me! She made a bad situation a lot better because of her understanding and kindness! I thought I had booked a different hotel closer to the mesa airport, and the front desk lady helped me get a Lyft to the other airport!

We showed up at midnight and we were frazzled. I wish I'd ask the clerk's name, but it was the night of July 1/ morning of July 2, and she was so helpful and patient with us. I'd booked a room through a travel website and it hadn't come through. She was able to still book two rooms for us, and we got a few hours sleep in a very comfy bed before having to return to the airport 5 hours later. Thank you again, and I wish I'd asked your name so that I could give you a better thanks!

I picked the country inn because we had a very early flight out of PHX and I’m disappointed that I did. I should have spent more and stayed anywhere else. Check in took over 25 minutes because there was not a desk agent for the first 20. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday and apparently there was only one agent working, who had left the desk to go to a room. By the time he came back there was a line of 8 groups waiting to check in and he kept answering the phone and assisting people calling. Multi tasking did not seem possible. This is not all on the agent, management clearly did not set him up for success. In the room the furniture was torn and we could not make coffee in the morning because there was no insert where you can place the filter. To top it off, we left before breakfast was open and the grab and go store was essentially empty.

I had made a reservation at this hotel the week before flying to Phoenix. Knowing my flight didn't get in until midnight, I called and asked them if that would be a problem for the free shuttle service. They said all I needed to do was call the front desk and they would send it for me. So, once I arrive in Phoenix, about 12:45 am I call the front desk. They tell me that the shuttle doesn't run that late and send a Lyft rideshare for me. This was fine, though it took at lest 15 minutes for a Lyft driver to accept the job. I arrive at the hotel and wait nearly half an hour to be "helped". There are two people at the desk, but one seems to just be wandering around aimlessly not doing anything. It turns out they are overbooked, so they are just sending people away to other hotels. It is now 2am and they send me over to an even more mediocre hotel. Don't bother going here, the Double Tree is about $20 more per night and much nicer.

Very tired facility Lots of little flaws in room…. Stained wallpaper, loose carpet. Not clean around elevator and hall carpets. But the thing that probably turned me off the most was the lack of training of front desk staff. We stood in front of one guy for 30 seconds without being recognized. Then, no welcome, no happy to have you, no smile. Similar experience next morning. Sorta dumpy all the way around

I planned to stay for two nights but decided to leave early due to animal noise. I checked with the front desk first for approval to check out early without penalty. They gave me the okay. Upon check out, they weren’t able to print me a receipt but would send later. After several calls to the hotel and Choice rewards, I never received my receipt for stay and my second stay was charged. Had they told me I would still be charged for my second night stay, I would’ve requested for another room. A message from the manager left a bad taste in my mouth about this property and laid blame on me as the customer.

If you need a clean, safe, and well maintained, hotel in close proximity to the airport look no further. Lauren at check in service counter was absolutely friendly, very professional and took her time to explaining everything. It was so incredibly nice encountering such phenomenal customer service especially when traveling a long way. I was so impressed by even the kitchen staff. There was a disabled elderly women who was assisted by a kitchen staff women who made this elderly lady a waffle and bought it to her table. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly! Compliments to all the staff here at the Country Inn and Suites near the airport!

It's nice to come from another state and be welcome into a hotel by great customer service and great staffing! When I walked in I had no problem getting my room early. Feels like a family. A great start to my new trip in Arizona.

I would like to thank Country Inn & Suites - Phoenix Airport and specifically kudos to Vanessa at the desk for going above and beyond to help me out when I experienced troubles and delays returning to Phoenix on my last stay, park, and flyout trip. I have used their stay, leave your car parked at the Country Inn & Suites, and fly out of the Phoenix airport service several times in the past with great satisfaction. My overnight stays have always been peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable with pleasant people helping at the desk. They do a super job of coordinating rides to the airport, and upon return to the airport with a single phone call, they coordinate my pickup ride to return me to the motel along with providing clear instructions on where to meet the ride. But on my last stay and flying trip out of the Phoenix, Vanessa really went above and beyond to help me out when I became unexpectedly delayed a week on my return trip. In a nutshell around the Memorial Day weekend, I helped move my young daughter from the east coast to central Texas and problems arose with the original apartment which included a couple calls to the police. Suddenly, we had to find a different apartment & move to the new location. While coordinating with Vanessa about my delay, I found her a very pleasant, empathetic, person who I believe really cares about the well-being of those staying with Country Inn & Suites. She did a super job. You are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
