Hello, thank you for your questions. We do sometimes turn the generators off during the night, but if you have a specific request to keep it on for you, we will most certainly do so. Guests will often stay for 2-3 nights per lodge, as each of our lodges are located in a different eco system, so it's a good way to experience the different parts of Botswana. The flight time between the lodges are approx 30-40 minutes. These flights are so scenic, and you will enjoy seeing the landscape and wildlife from the air. The guides do rotate between the lodges, and currently Tsile is at Belmond Khwai River Lodge at the moment, but we do have brilliant guides at the the lodge, ask for Kenny if you enjoyed Tsile, think you will enjoy his guiding style. Dear Daisylu, Thank you for your inquiry. The flood waters start to reach our lodge in April/May from Angola, we are usually able to launch all our water activities by May, and you should be able to go on a Mokoro Safari by April. Our guides and polars are experts at their work, and they know the waters and the mokoros really well (many of them have grown up using a Mokoro as a means of transport from their villages to the city). There is an element of danger when doing the mokoro activity, but it's not dangerous. Before departing, the guides know where the hippos are, and we avoid confronting them. We take the mokoros out nearby the lodge, and down the delta venturing not too far from the lodge at a slow pace, and the bigger hippo pods are not nearby the lodge. Guests that have experience the mokoro excursions have thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it's very quiet and peaceful, and let us worry about the hippos, you will be perfectly safe with us. At any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, let the guide know, and he will take you back the lodge. Warm regards, Louise

Dear Lollipoplondon, Yes, the mokoros will still go out, even if the water levels are low, might just be nearby the lodge though, not out on the delta. October you should still have enough water, we had good rain this year. If the village is not accessible by boat, we can reach it by vehicle. Best regards Louise
