Nestled in a prime location with easy access to beaches and local attractions, the Omni Amelia Island Resort is lauded for its cleanliness and well-maintained grounds. While guests enjoy the beautiful ocean views and the resort's welcoming atmosphere, the rooms often receive criticism for being outdated and occasionally unclean.
The hotel's amenities, especially the pools and beach access, are popular among travelers, yet some feel the resort is overpriced, particularly noting the high costs of parking, dining, and activities. Although service is generally praised for staff friendliness, issues with slow responsiveness are sometimes mentioned.

First time visiting Amelia Island, and I definitely plan to return. The resort was beautiful and sat on a lovely stretch of beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. They truly went above and beyond. The food was delicious. I hope to return when it is warmer, and I can enjoy more amenities as I was only there for one night.

The Omni, Amelia Island is one of my favorite Omni hotels as it is right on the beach, most rooms have a beach view, and the staff and service is outstanding. Their restaurants are excellent, and the breakfast buffet is one of my favorites. There are so many activities to do on the property you cannot be bored.

1. Have to pay for parking regardless of if you valet for self park. If you pay $25 for self park you have a good 7 minute walk every time you want to get to your car. 2. Hotel hasn’t been taken care of. The elevator was worn, stools at the lobby bar had duck tape on them, corridors were dirty and in major need of some water pressuring, etc 3. Some people may like this, but the relaxing hotel lobby plays loud Pop music. This is fine for the pool area, but there were several times in the morning we wanted to relax, drink some coffee and talk in the lobby. We had to leave because the music was so distracting. 4. Golf course fairways are the worse I’ve ever seen. 5. Room walls are very thin and you hear EVERYTHING! Even your neighbor peeing in the morning. 6. Fitness center is a…

All around great vacation. The Omni resort never disappoints! The staff is always so kind and helpful from the moment you arrive at the guard gate until you depart. Each year we find something new at the Omni that we didn’t know existed before!

We dined at Falcon’s Nest and our bartender Mary was absolutely amazing. She grew up in the area and offered so much useful information about the history of Amelia Island, all the events we could attend and the best bars in town. Highly recommend grabbing a bite at The Falcon’s Nest. You must get the Brussel sprouts.

We have stayed at this Resort 3X in 2023. It’s one of our favorites. Our most recent visit was to celebrate New Year’s Eve. A special Thank You to Maci at the Front Desk, she was very friendly, informative, helpful and welcoming. The entire staff at the Resort and Restaurants are outstanding!!! Highly recommend!!!

The property is beautiful, and the tennis is awesome. The weather was chilly so cannot report much in the beach or pools except that the adult pool was closed. Now for the bad: the service was terrible. The day we got there and settled into our connected rooms, we realized that the kids’ room was flooded from a storm and moldy. They were moved but there were no more connecting rooms available u til three days later. So we all moved again. The day after our arrival they dug up the driveway to the hotel and each morning we awoke to jackhammers and the beeping of trucks in reverse. With the hotel driveway under construction we had to walk to the conference center which felt like a 1/2 mile away to come and go. Finally the one warm day as we relaxed by a pool outside ( a Saturday)…

This was my second time staying at the resort. As a Black Tier Select Guest Member of Omni, it's nice that the resort has a dedicated check-in desk for Platinum and Black Tier Select Guests. I wish all the other Omni Resorts had that perk. I met with Jennifer Alberici, who is the resort's Loyalty Ambassador. Days leading up to my arrival, she emailed me to confirm my room and amenities requests. She made the check-in process quick and easy and was nice enough to deduct some per night upcharge fee that was somehow placed on my reservation. Due to my Select Guest status, I was able to check into my room early, which it was ready at the 1pm time that I arrived at the resort. I booked the King Bed End Suite Ocean and Pool View, which I was given the top floor that allowed for…

Between the beach, the trails, the village shopping area, the nature center and all the other amenities, this is about as pleasant of a place as you could hope for. the sunrise cafe inside served the best omelet i've ever had, the gourmet shop had a number of treasures, and the cliff drysdale tennis facility was also outstanding. with more time there looked like a few more things i could have enjoyed as well, including golf, the chapel, and several other restaurants.
