Roundstone House hotel is a small family run Boutique hotel in the heart of Roundstone Village, Connemara on the Wild Atlantic view Route, one of Irelands most beautiful & rustic regions. The hotel is surrounded by spectacular views of Roundstone Bay, with the back drop of the majestic twelve bens Mountain range. The hotel is perfectly suited to welcome all ages. We charm our guests with excellent freshly cooked food, seafood being our speciality.
Roundstone is the heart of Connemara and Roundstone House Hotel is the best place to stay there. It’s in the middle of the village, wonderful view, newly refurbished but above all, it has the most amazing food - breakfast, bar food and the wonderful dinners. People come from miles around for Siobhan’s cooking. Sit outside and admire the view while having the bar food or in the dining room for full dinner. Stay a few nights - you won’t regret it. This is our fourth visit and it certainly won’t be our last.

Stopped in while on the area and the whole of Roundstone was really business. We got into the Roundstone House. Service was really good and food was excellent. Would recommend and would go back again if in the area.

My partner and I recently stopped by for an evening meal on a Saturday, served on the outside terrace in front of the bar. The service was great, and the two ladies who took our orders and checked up on us throughout were great. We both ordered fresh fish off the menu and were not disappointed! We debated whether we would just just check into the hotel for the night, but without any clothes etc. common sense prevailed and we returned to Galway! However, it is now on our list of places to overnight in with a little future planning! Lovely spot, and obviously Roundstone and the surrounding area is fabulous!

Great wee hotel in the beautiful village of Roundstone, friendly staff, tasty food and comfortable rooms. We stayed 2 nights at the end of our Easter break, we had a sea view room which was spotless and although not huge was perfectly adequate, we slept well in the comfortable bed. Breakfast, which was cooked to order was delicious, the porridge the best I have tasted. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant, good service and fabulous food.

Good Irish coffee and a lovely pint here. Lovely place to stop in Roundstone. Bar is nice in bad weather or can take drink out to balcony or across the road to benches. Nice and friendly service. Diolch!

First time stay, we were welcomed by the owners who could not together with the staff have been helpful. We stayed in a double sea view room which was very clean and a good view together with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent as was the all day and evening menu. We will return and recommend others to visit.

We had read how good the restaurant was but we’re hungry earlier so ate in the bar. Great Killary Mussels for a starter which we shared then Irish lamb chops and crab claws in garlic butter. All really good, especially the mussels. Great atmosphere, friendly and good service too.

Staying at Vaughan's Roundstone House Hotel was the best decision we could have made for our first trip to Ireland! There was a lot to do in the area;more things to see than we had time for. Plenty of places to experience local cuisine, or, honestly, you could just eat there every day, 'cause the food is fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, we felt more like family than hotel guests! We shall return, and that is a promise =). Kathy & Rob from Boston.

Okay this is not luxury, but our room was compact, clean and the bed user friendly with a view of the sea. The breakfast was really good and cooked to order. Mrs. Vaughan (junior) was a very charming hostess and I suspect the food in the bar/ restaurant is also very good. We ate in O’Dowds down the road which was okay but not as good as we remembered, admittedly from about 20 years previously. If you are looking for an overnight spot on a tour of Connemara then look no further. I genuinely believe my title sums this place up and we would definitely go back.
