Roundstone House hotel is a small family run Boutique hotel in the heart of Roundstone Village, Connemara on the Wild Atlantic view Route, one of Irelands most beautiful & rustic regions. The hotel is surrounded by spectacular views of Roundstone Bay, with the back drop of the majestic twelve bens Mountain range. The hotel is perfectly suited to welcome all ages. We charm our guests with excellent freshly cooked food, seafood being our speciality.
First time stay, we were welcomed by the owners who could not together with the staff have been helpful. We stayed in a double sea view room which was very clean and a good view together with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent as was the all day and evening menu. We will return and recommend others to visit.

We had read how good the restaurant was but we’re hungry earlier so ate in the bar. Great Killary Mussels for a starter which we shared then Irish lamb chops and crab claws in garlic butter. All really good, especially the mussels. Great atmosphere, friendly and good service too.

Staying at Vaughan's Roundstone House Hotel was the best decision we could have made for our first trip to Ireland! There was a lot to do in the area;more things to see than we had time for. Plenty of places to experience local cuisine, or, honestly, you could just eat there every day, 'cause the food is fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, we felt more like family than hotel guests! We shall return, and that is a promise =). Kathy & Rob from Boston.

Okay this is not luxury, but our room was compact, clean and the bed user friendly with a view of the sea. The breakfast was really good and cooked to order. Mrs. Vaughan (junior) was a very charming hostess and I suspect the food in the bar/ restaurant is also very good. We ate in O’Dowds down the road which was okay but not as good as we remembered, admittedly from about 20 years previously. If you are looking for an overnight spot on a tour of Connemara then look no further. I genuinely believe my title sums this place up and we would definitely go back.

Nice enough place to eat. The service was good. The desert looked great at and adjacent table but our pub grub to ordinary. The serving of fries was huge and the chicken pieces too dry. In season this is one of the few eateries in Roundstone so go early.

Great food and stunning views, you can’t go wrong with this quaint hotel perched on top of Roundstone village. Crab claws and chowder were just amazing for the pub food and the service in the main dining area was superb and efficient. Will be making my way back there soon!!!

The food here is just superb. Crab claws, mussels, spring lamb, chowder - you could have a feast. As a regular visitor to the area I think It's the best spot in Roundstone for food. Make sure you get the Banoffee Pie for dessert - best I've ever had! We had a beautiful room overlooking Roundstone Bay. It was clean and bright and the bed was super comfy. The staff are really on the ball and always happy to chat or help if you have a question. Roundstone is a beautiful spot, put it on the itinerary if you head west.

We had our wedding reception here and stayed at the hotel with all of our guests (around 30 people) over a bank holiday weekend. We were treated so well, everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food and service were exceptional and the rooms very comfortable, spacious and perfectly clean and bright with lovely bathrooms. We, along with all of our guests were thrilled and and full of praise for this hotel. Our wedding day was beautiful. We hope to return next year.
