The Landhotel Post is located directly in the center of the village of the legendary mountain village "Holy blood" at the foot of the Grossglockner, directly across from the cable car station which leads to the spacious, sophisticated Grossglockner ski resort. The comfortable rooms are equipped with balcony, satellite TV and safe. After a busy day on the slopes, it can be in the hotel's indoor swimming pool with relaxation room, sauna and Turkish relax. Soothing massages complete the offer. A varied breakfast buffet with produce from the local farmers can start the day well, the 4-course menu with salad buffet in the evening meets all culinary needs. The quaint and cozy cellar, the "Kaminstuberl" promises in winter a good end to the day.

Hotel in a great location, opposite the ski lift, Heating was available in the hotel and rooms, reception staff very helpful, for my requests, restaurant staff again very helpful, breakfast brilliant and the evening meal was great as a buffet food selection was great, a member of staff who's name was Colin was very professional and represented the hotel in a great way, very helpful and informative...well done to all the staff.

Good location for views over grossglockner Good potato salad and sausage, and nice schnitzel. Unfortunately they only brought out one schintzel from the two and by the time it arrived the other meals were almost finished. Nice staff.

Staff is great, they do put an effort to make an extra mile for your comfort. Breakfast is rich, varied and tasty. Every morning you get a leaflet with weather forecast, information on local events, history, etc... Sauna, swimming pool and chillout zone will top up your Heiligenblut experience.

Stayed there for only one night in August. Spacious room, good breakfast. Helpful staff at the restaurant and during the breakfast. Our room had windows towards the mountain and the road. If we had stayed there longer, we would have needed to have the room on the other side of the hotel as it is probably quieter (as in everywhere in Austria, Germany etc. there is no ventilation in the hotel rooms except opening the window. Thus you might want to open the window to get some air.) Free ski lift tickets were a nice surprise in August and it is totally worth visiting the top of the mountain. Also the alpine scenic road from Salzburg is amazing.

Very well managed breakfast. Nice balconies and they gave us free chair lift tickets when we went in July. Warm ski room where you can store your bikes. Very nice little town. Good sized rooms. Pizza place across the street not great for pizza. Try the hotel or the campsite restaurant.

Hotel has a best location possible- just opposite the cable car and in the middle of the town. The room was very clean and spacious. Also the bathroom with a separate toilette. The breakfast was great with plenty of selection. The dinner was OK, but nothing special. Nice and friendly stuff at restaurant. I enjoyed my 3 days stay but I would rate this hotel more like 3 star than a 4 star.

We stayed here for a night and no one can speak fluent English. The staff from the buffet were very rude. We sat down on a table that had no reservation written, however a waitress came and without any greetings, behaved rudely and told us we need to change tables.. after that, she served us cold hot choc which tasted mostly milky and no choc - basically bland. The breakfast in this hotel was so sad and pathetic, they don't replenish there eggs and bacon if finished and we got nothing to eat even after going there 2hrs before closing time for breakfast. Checkout time was not clearly mentioned anywhere and we assumed it will be 11am, as this is the case in most hotels in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. However the reception called us at 10:30 and told us we need to clear the room. So yah checkout time is confusing. They also gave us incorrect information about the popular lamb festival - they told us it will start at 7pm 8th Sept where in fact the festival started at 12pm 9th Sept. So yah, overall horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Instead I reckon if you wanna stay in that area, try the other adjacent hotel, national park lodge grossglockner.

Stayed here for 2 weeks on business. The room was nice and clean, no complaints here, the staff at the reception desk was nice and friendly, didn't get the chance to use the pool or sauna...all I know is that it closes at 8-ish. Dinner is served till 830 sharp, no exceptions. All in all a nice hotel, but with few "strange" policies

Very good hotel, staff very helpful with the parking. Nice quiet town with good restaurants. The hotel has a pool along with a steam room and spa which is a nude area so keep the kids away from that door. This doesn't interfere with the pool area. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Well worth the price. Ask for a room at the rear overlooking the mountains this is truly spectacular even after just driving the Glossglockner.
