Instructional riding is available through the wranglers for a fee and paid directly to them. The ranch will not let your child go out on a horse without first making sure that the child knows what is expected of them and what they need to do with the horse. Safety is their biggest concern for both rider and horse. Our daughter first rode at White Stallion when she was seven years old. I believe that five is the minimum age for riding.
If you are arriving into Tucson International then the ranch can pick you up from there. Depending on how long you are staying will determine on whether there is a cost for the transfer. If you are staying for more than 4 nights then there is no charge for the transfer. If you are staying for less then there is a charge of $37.
If you're landing at a different airport (ie Phoenix), then the situation is different. Feel free to DM if that is the case and I can go through the different options available to you.
As Karen has said, you'll have a wonderful time there. I head out there twice a year now it's that good. The True familly are great and whole staff team are really friendly and helpful.
Hi there, howa167
the ranch sells lots of differentcowboy hats in the gift shop, you can ride in any comfortable closed-toe shoe with a low heel -
you can see about getting a ride to CowTown Boots, or ask the driver if he has time to stop on your way to the Ranch...
However - Cowboy boots aren't required :)
