This is a lovely hotel, the staff are very helpful and speak great English, the entertainment staff are great fun and very friendly. The food is varied and there is always something for everyone, the only thing that was disappointing was that the whole complex wasn't open and the air conditioning didn't come on until June even though it was very hot in May.

Picked this little gem up at a great last minute flight. I had never been to Bulgaria but it looked great. This is a complex of 3 really good hotels set in its own vast grounds with apartments set about half a mile away. The whole complex is gated so you feel secure but the grounds are so vast that you don't notice. First things first, you have to get used to the Romanians and Russians who have a completely different mantra to us Brits. They don't que like we do and do push in at the bar and the restaurant's. On the first day I was fairly hacked off with it, but you soon realise that they are not been rude and its just the way it is. from that point we were fine and whilst I didn't do any pushing if you stand your ground you are fine. Each hotel has its own restaurant which has indoor and outdoor seating areas. I would recommend the outside Barbie retuarant at the royal palace and we loved the hotel up the hill. The main part of the resort has a large pool which is right next to the beach an the resort harbour. There are bars scattered all over the complex where you can eat and drink on your all inclusive so you don't need to take any money. On the Thursday night they did a Barbie and set up tables on the beach with great food chilled beers and loads of bottles of spirit all free. There was lots of cheesy music and everyone was dancing, absolutely brilliant. The hotel was spotless an we managed to grab a room with a large balcony a massive bed, 2 sofas and a chair. The batroom was great but the TV didn't have any UK TV. Bulgarian cooking programmes are really interesting, I didn't know you could cook a meat broth in so many ways. everything was AI and the bars were amazing. All drinks were freshly prepared and the Bloody Mary's and mojito's were superb and served from 9 till 1am. The staff were pretty good but most didn't speak English and we kept ourselves to ourselves. For people watching this is the best hotel ever. The Romaninian speedo clad men just played ping pong all day while the wives struggled with the kids on the beach. Honestly this was such a good holiday, you can even do 3 gourmet nights if you booked them. The Italian was really good and if you asked for wine you wer given a bottle. We went int the town which was 5 minutues away in a taxi. Its like going back to 1500, with its pretty wooden houses and cobbled streets. You can even get a couple of beers in a back street bar for a pound. If you fancy a really different holiday then this is brilliant but don't go if you want an English breakfast not many other brits and feel uncomfortable away from traditional Spanish resorts. I like both but this is really different. By the way children would be bored as there is no kids entertainment…
