Perfect location and perfect hotel for our recent visit to Teggiano. Clean and friendly staff. Best cappuccino every morning. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. The only thing I would change is the key system at the front desk.

We stay here often when we visit southern Italy for business. It is a charming hotel, adequate room accommodations, a very good restaurant attached to hotel and complimentary breakfast though somewhat limited it's still decent. Wifi is spotty, but that is to be expected being a fairly rural region. If I had to say a con for this hotel it would be the showers are in need of remodel (the one we had last visit had the beginning signs of mold on the ceiling) and the linens are the worst! Friendly staff, excellent free parking, elevator to upper floors, comfortable lobby, it works for us. We have stayed at plenty of others in the area, and this is our favorite. There are no "American" type hotels in this region of Italy so therefore this is the best alternative we've been able to find to date.

Hotel is very good, clean & reasonably priced. Staff are friendly & English is spoken. Breakfast is adequate, for the price paid. Ideal for an overnight stay, or for those who are in the area for walking. Free wifi

We have stayed here twice and could not have been more pleased. First time for five days and second time ten days. Was very easy to travel to sights. Excellent food, clean room and very pleasant staff. Looking forward to another visit.

We chose Hotel Marchesina as a base for our foray into the mountains of nearby Basilicata. As such, it fulfilled its role and would also be suitable for travellers stopping overnight on-route to another destination. The hotel and its surroundings are rather characterless, forming part of the commercial sprawl at the base of the hill on which the old town is located. The hotel walls feature many murals which have been used to add personality. The room was very clean, but the bed was ordinary and the air-conditioning ineffective. The bathroom was large and functional. Parking is ample and also serves the large restaurant where the included continental breakfast was served. Road noise was negligible. Service varied from friendly to perfunctory. Wi-Fi was patchy, necessitating access from the reception lounge. Three stars would definitely be more indicative of the standard.

We stayed for one night on our way from the Gulf of Policastro to Caserta. The room was simple but adequate with a small fridge, desk, no safe, strange collection of hangers in the cabinet/closet, very slow internet access and decent lighting. It faced the parking lot. Overall, the hotel would appear to cater to modest tour groups or students. The price and location were right for us. We had dinner in the restaurant, which also seems like a popular place for locals to get pizzas. We split the vegetable appetizer which was very large. The pasta and secondi dishes were VERY salty to the point where I could not eat halk the pasta. Locals were eating there and a large soccer team of teenagers came into the second room for their meal. Breakfast was modest with juice, chocolate cake croissant, and jam. In our experience this is a three star hotel.
