We love these apartments and have stayed here several times before. They tick all the boxes for us, friendly staff, great value and in a perfect location - a quiet area yet close to all that Kassiopi has to offer. We were advised that we were staying in an updated room. It was clean and well equipped. There was a super comfy bed, powerful shower and fantastic air conditioning, not to mention a fan above our bed - all the things that are important to us, we couldn’t fault it. The pool area is lovely and there are plenty of sun beds. The food and drinks at the bar are good value for money and the measures are generous (especially the wine!) The bar staff are so friendly and there’s a good social atmosphere. I would highly recommend these apartments if you are looking for great value and great location. Thank you once again to Spiros and all the hard working team at the Philippos!

We stayed for a week and took two one bed apartments for our family of five (we have three teenage girls so happy to be in a separate room to them and their make-up!). ROOMS - we had 402 and 412. Identical layouts, each had two large rooms with two single beds in each; a spacious bathroom with excellent shower; a kitchenette area (we only needed the fridge); and a large terrace. Loads of space and everything we needed. Shutters to keep out the heat, good air con, lots of plug points. Cleaned every other day which was more than sufficient. Rooms were spotless, towels provided. Beds a little hard but fine. POOL AREA - a huge pool! Never too busy even at the busiest times. Plenty of loungers for all. Very chilled and calm, mostly families and couples. Parasols for shade. A great snack bar serving breakfast and lunch, plus drinks ice creams etc. Perfect! We spent whole days here, it was lush. LOCATION - just off a side lane at the top of the main road down to the harbour. Just minutes to shops, bars and restaurants. Quiet and no traffic noise. Perfectly located.

Although the room we stayed in was perfectly situated overlooking the pool, it could do with some upgrading and modernisation. It reminded me of our first holiday in a Corfu apartment 30 years ago! The room was basic with very low beds and the mattresses are far too hard and both should be replaced. The self catering facilities were very sparse and items such as washing up liquid, dishcloth and tea towels should be provided. Overall the room and bathroom were clean. We stayed 6 nights and the room/towels were cleaned/changed twice, although it might be better to empty the bins a bit more regularly as there does not seem to be anywhere to take them yourself. Bed linen was changed once which was perfectly acceptable. The wifi was very intermittent and sometimes non-existent and more often than was connected without internet. The pool area is brilliant. Very clean and tidy with plenty of sun beds, umbrella’s and shade and a good sized swimming pool. The snack bar is excellent with a large TV screen showing pretty much anything you want to watch! The food is freshly cooked and very good value. The staff are wonderfully friendly and so helpful. The hotel is in a quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the hub-bub of Kassiopi Overall, although there are some areas which need improvement, I would not hesitate to go back. We had a brilliant holiday.

Stayed here for a weeks family holiday. Firstly, the good stuff: All staff were really approachable and helpful, especially the guys at the poolside snack bar. Food here is also of really good quality and reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is also really good, with only a 5 minute walk to the main street and all the bars, restaurants and shops. Now the bad stuff: Our room was very dated and in need of some serious updating. Sockets were hanging off the wall, air conditioning wasn't the best, and the patio doors would not lock correctly. Our room wasn't particularly clean on check-in, and we had to consistently request clean towels. Cleaners didn't attend the room on a daily basis, not even to change the "toilet paper bin," which we found slightly unhygienic.

Extremely impressed with this hotel. The location is perfect as it is close to the centre but also far enough away that it is very peaceful. I requested a room overlooking the pool and was very happy to have been given this. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and happy. Pool was very large so plenty of space for everyone and cocktails were cheap. I am glad I booked this hotel and would return to this hotel if I was to come back to Kassiopi. Thank you!

Good self catering apartments clean, sheets and towels changed every other day, good pool side bar that serves food all at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff only criticism is the pool has no depth markings although it does have a children's section

Never once used the cooker as the smell of fat was disgusting, I soaked the pans but still did not come clean self catering accommodation we where unable to use . I had to remove myself and use my own bin liner , room was full of drain flys . I love kassiopi and have stayed in numerous accommodations over the last 13 years I am afraid this is the last time I will stay at philippos

Just returned (on Sunday) from a week at Kassiopi and we stayed at Philippos Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was directly opposite the pool and we chose a room with 2 single beds downstairs and a double upstairs. We was very happy with the hotel and will definitely return. Only one minor issue was the shower curtain. Think the showers need updating as it was difficult to stop the water going on the bathroom floor and it was quite slippy sometimes. We used one of the small towels as a bath mat. Other than that we loved our stay. Nice bar area and snacks served all day, including breakfast. The bar closed early, around 7pm. Sometimes it's nice to return to the hotel after an evening out and have a drink in the hotel bar but this wasn't an option. Maybe the bar is open later in the summer months. We didn't mind though as our room was opposite the pool/bar area so no rowdiness late at night, which a previous reviewer mentioned. The hotel is in an ideal location, just a few minutes walk into the town. Plenty of sunbeds and no annoying holiday-makers putting their towels out early. Good size fridge. We will definitely return to beautiful Kassiopi and stay at Philippos again.

Lovely large apartment with good size balcony overlooking pool and garden. Ideal for a good read. Communal areas and pool well maintained, with pool bar catering for range of drinks and snacks from breakfast through to early evening. (Great barman too). 10 minute walk to harbour with many restaurants and superb views. Shame that the beds were only singles .
