We weren't expecting much for the price but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large, the breakfast was appreciated, the location was convenient and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The WiFi service was intermittent. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the budget conscious traveler.

The room was a surprise. An apartment really, but it felt too much like I'd woken up after a night out during communist times. The decor was dull and reminded me of movies filmed around Berlin in the 1960's. Bathroom the same. Breakfast in the basement, however, was very nice and had a better atmosphere. Bright decor and very pleasant staff. Parking for bikes in garage at the back and a good location gave us a better outlook but it still felt more practical than pleasant. Fairly expensive by Czech standards. Melnik a bit touristy (hence prices) and not very atmospheric. Happy to move on.

Adequate hotel. Garage for cycles to be locked away. Staff helpful. Tea and coffee available in reception. For breakfast given plate of salami, ham and cheese with basket of bread. Order tea/ coffee on request. Well placed just away from centre. Shower head not working in room 101 although water was hot. Large room with sofa. Beds fine in fact overslept.

The hotel is well located in the center of Melnik. Clean, cosy nice and comfortably furnished. Just a few minutes walk and you can have a nice view of Vltava and Elbe rivers joining. All the sightseeing are close. And it's about 40 min by bus from Prague. Surely will recmmend to stay here.

Don't expect luxury. Furniture is old though in good shape. Room and bathroom appeared to be clean and tidy but bad air stayed despite open windows. Shower and bathroom equipment with broken parts. Windows don't close properly (maybe that's good regarding the bad air). Avoid the restaurant. Pro: Large room.

we arrived to Melnik at night with no to book hotel before. we search the city but all hotels were full. when we found this hotel only one room was available. the manager was very nice person, the room actually was an two room apartment. all in good condition but soviet style furniture. in any case the room was comfortable and clean. shower little old but clean. Hotel located right on the border of old city and there is 1 minutes walk to the promenade with spectacular view of Melnik surroundings. shops, and restaurants very close to the hotel. Breakfast wasn't reach but steel tasty and staff very nice and helpful. Generally we enjoy our stay in this hotel and surely we back to this hotel again.

Do not expect luxury. No frigidaire in the room. The curtains are too small and too transparant. Not enough plugs to charge batteries. Standard 3 beds and coaches. Good was the guarded carpark. Also the bikes of the bikers were stored in a carage. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the centre. Only breakfast is served, but lots of restaurants in the near surrounding. Free WiFi.
