It was decent food and a good view but horrible service. We ordered but our food came with 10 minute intervals and i had to send mine back because it was cold. Then there was problems with payment.

Deliberate thieves. Despite previous reviews regarding adding amounts to bills, we gave it a go. They added 200 CZK to the bill (which was a piece of paper with scribbles on it) and feigned ignorance. Shocking. On top of that, the aperol spritz had no...Prosecco in it and the pork neck was dry. Do not go here.More
Having stumbled upon this authentic’locals’ restaurant, away from Prague’s tourist hotspots, near to the castle, we ate here twice on our visit to Prague, the only restaurant to do so. We both ate local food, absolutely delicious and lots of it. Washed down with a...couple of beers. This is probably my fourth visit to Prague, should I return again in the future, I will certainly go back to this restaurant. It has an outdoor seating area although on both occasions decided to eat inside. The lady waitress was very helpful and friendly when making our menu food choices.More
If you are in the area and are looking for a place to take a break, go here. Walk through all the way to the patio. Great view of the Petrin Hill draws us in. Cup of coffee and cake or beer is usually what...we order. We have not experienced any problems with the service here. It is what it is in the busy tourist season. Yes, we speak Czech and fortunately for us, we only run into friendly people. 5 star fine dining restaurant this is not ! We know the difference and adjust our expectation accordingly. We come mostly for the view ... Till next time, Dekuji a NashledanouMore
This is one of the worst experience ever. They rip off tourists .If you don t speak czech , you will find out 15 % in plus on your final bill. When i’ve asked why he was doing this, the waiter reply was :Everyone do this here!...Can you imagine? i can’t... They are living the moment!Nobody will come the second time in Prague! Czech Tourism should be informed P.s : also, the food is so basic and bad...More
The guy who was attending us was not kind. When I asked for the bathroom he repeated my words in a sarcastic way, he was clearly kidding me. After this, as he took note of our order when I was not at the table, in...order to help him I went to the bar (where He was), to ask for a beer. He answered in a very unkindly way, saying to me to sit down because he couldn't take my order because He Didn t know where I was setting. Of course he knows because he saw me. Again when we left the restaurant he and its colleague where wait for Us to say good bye to us laghing and kidding Us. Ithink that this is not the right way to give a good service, Thwy were very unkind and of course I won t never come back in this bar in my next visit to Prague and do not recomend it at all.More
Very impatient and rude staff. Mulled wine was cold, mistake on the bill. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to others.
Our personal guide Martin introduced us to this restaurant Divadlo Pokracuje around Strahov Monastery hidden behind a wall. The view of Charles Bridge and the city in the evening was excellent. He recommended the goulash and local beer. The price was reasonable about 360 CZK.
During a walking tour stopped here for a snack. The view was amazing of the Petřín Tower and the whole interior looked Medieval. Seating was great, our group sat outside. The staff didn't seem too happy we just ordered desserts and drinks but it was...fine and very reasonably cheap. They came out quickly and were very delicious. Highly recommend the chocolate cake!More
I recommend it for the food and the atmosphere. Tasty and satious. Jazzy music in the background and dimmed lights. Great if you stay outsaid, with the view of the park. We had goulash and a couple of beers, apple strudel with ice cream. And...I can’t be happier that I didn’t fall for the goulash in bread you see everywhere. This was not like that, this was better. But watch out, as other reviews say they scam you, we were brought a bill hand written on a paper, with some 20-40 KC added to our calculations. Just ask for a printed bill so they can’t scam you.More
Most items on the menu were not available. When it came to paying the bill, the waiter put an additional 'card fee' on the bill. We only realised this when we asked for the printed bill as before that the waiter only told us the...total price, which did not sound correct. When confronted, he quickly pulled out a 100kc note and gave back to us... tourist trap.More
Found this place next to our hotel. Went in for a beer after a long day of travel. Had decent service for one beer, but when we tried to flag down our server for a second while she was getting orders from others, we were...ignored. I went into the bar myself to order and was told by the male working there that the bar was closed. Our server was standing there with had a tray of beer to be served. Was quite upset so paid our bill and left. We could still hear them going until 1 am. I don't recommend this to visitors. They are not welcoming.More
Got scammed here. We had two meals for 210 crowns each and two bears for 27 crowns each. When we asked to get the bill the waitress wanted us to come to the other room in which there was only the bar, no other customers....They added some numbers on a piece of paper with a pencil, no official bill was presented to us. The amount they wanted was 580 crowns, which does not quite add up with the price of the food and drinks we actually consumed. Looking back it is quite suspicious that they had us come to an empty sideroom for the payment, considering we we're going to pay in cash, no credit card maschine was required. I think they did this, that in case we would complain and make a scene, none of the other customers would notice. Please don't go there, or of you do, insist on them showing you the bill!More
We stopped here to have a lunch, halfway during our break the sun came through. The view was really amazing. Next to that they served a large variety of beers and juices. Also the crepes are a must try for sure.
Around Strahov Monastery, after a long walk, decided to sit down for a lunch. Find this restaurant behind a wall (bit hidden), A Divadlo Pokracuje. It has a varieties of food menu of local food. Order the medium cooked meat hamburger with fries, and it...tastes good. One thing I like, there is a patio with an amazing view. The staffs give a good greetings and good service. Over all, A Divadlo Pokracuje is a good place to eat and to enjoy the beautiful of Prague. Selamat MakanMore
