I was SO incredibly impressed with this little burger shop. It was literally the most delicious hamburger I've ever had the privilege of consuming. The menu is wonderful, the prices great, the kids loved it (they really make it fun and special for kids on...their birthday) and the employees were joyful and kind and helpful - it seemed they really loved working there. I honestly can't wait to return again.More

This place was really pretty good years ago. Used to go to los Osos for a great Burger. Then the Atascadero store was opened, used to be good, now it sucks big time. Meat quality has definitely changed over the years. Fries soggy. Just generally...down from how it used to be. 18 bucks for a burger and fries…wow. And that’s with no drink. Just a bad burger and a small soggy side of fries. Don’t bother going here it’s terrible now days.More

I'll admit, this spot has a different vibe than the original in Los Osos, but still awesome. Terrific gourmet burgers and sides - recommended beyond belief.

My family and I ate there last Thursday for a late lunch and got very horrible food poisoning. Were miserable for a few days. I have IBS so I am still dealing with symptoms, can't eat solid food, and have missed several days of work...(seen by doctor; confirmed food poisoning). Violently ill. Have tried contacting business about this and have gotten no response. I've worked in food service and things like this are definitely preventable (changing oil, cleaning surfaces, storing things properly). From the condition of the photos on the walls (grease splattered and obviously not ever cleaned...) it appears there's likely an overall sanitation issue. Spent $70 to get violently ill and use up PTO.More

Mushroom Burger did not disappoint. However, the fish and chips left something not to be desired. The 3 patties were overdone on the outside and the raw batter on the inside was inedible. Kinda cool deco, but I'd stick to the main fare. Great fresh...brewed ice tea.More

It looks like a very fun environment. They offer some unusual meats and also apparently have a eating challenge at the restaurant. I staff were friendly to speak to while waiting for the burger. The place was clean and well kept. The staff though did...not have masks on during the state ordered mandate. The burger was an Elk Burger which I have had before in Wyoming. The particular burger was supposed to have cajun seasoning as well but could not taste it at all. The Elk patty did not have any flavor and was more a bit more rare then I would have liked. I did take it to go and the sandwhich was still hot when I sat down to eat it. I would go back sometime to try their other choices and eat in if the staff masks up or c19 has passed. One note: This place is near schools so there is a large after school crowd but otherwise it evens out the rest of the time.More

We were staying a half block away at the Carlton so we walked down and had burgers and fries; I had the Desperado and my brother had a cheeseburger; we shared fries. The fries were crispy and gently seasoned, so good there; my 1/3 pound...patty topped with pepper jack cheese and BBQ sauce, plus two awesome onion rings which I ate separately, like a perfect small order. A good burger. Brother was happy. Good tunes in the background; a little pricey but good quality.More

My twins are 6 and for their birthday they wanted to go and get their “free birthday meal” only this year the “free” meal was only a burger...my kids don’t like burgers. They wanted kids meals with chicken strips and grilled cheese, which is much...cheaper than a $15 burger, and they wouldn’t even do it!!More

Great Service! The burgers for a hometown burgers are overpriced for meat and the toppings. The meat is good taste and you will enjoy it. But you can get a better burger for the same price at Main St., Grill in Templeton California only eight...minutes up the road. Syl: $23 for two 1/3 lb orig burgers and a small order fries. Main St Grill $8 less. Both places good for town burgers just depends on what you want to spendMore

We used to love coming here as a family. Been coming for years at los Osos and Atascadero. We totally understand how Covid has affected everyone but I just left this restaurant with three 1/3lb burgers and a basket of fries for $50!?!? I thought...the usually stoned kids were just wrong when they quoted me over the phone but NOPE that’s their prices now! Online does not reflect true prices. Now their burgers are pretty good but not downtown New York prices good! Especially for takeout! Save the money and hit In N Out one exit away and at least $30 bucks cheaper to feed your family! I guess we won’t be coming back here. Just disappointingMore

If you aren't counting calories or carbs, this Central Coast burger place is good. Servings are huge. They have buffalo burgers, elk burgers, and just about every kind of burger you could wish. No fancy ambiance, but a nice outdoor patio facing the park. Good...for large groups, families. Wait is sometimes a little long. Good fries.More

These folks have mastered the art of the burger! Lines can get long at mealtime so come earlier if possible. Nonetheless, the burger is worth the wait!
