The wife loved her breakfast burrito. I had the Bergin which is biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty and fried egg. The sausage is not store bought but special made.I would go there just for a sausage patty and coffee.

Ok! I picked up the wrong stuff for me. My mistake. Other than that, my wife’s breakfast was delicious, good quality coffee, nice ambiance. There is a good parking lot. Very good American breakfast.
Look no further for breakfast in Paso. Joe's is the place to go for massive portions and friendly service. Everything our group of six tried was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for breakfast.
You'll find American breakfast classics and patriotic displays at Joe's place in Paso Robles. Got a hankering for chicken fried steak? Or biscuits and gravy? You'll find large portions of both here. The cooks in the back do a great job of making fluffy biscuits...covered in a cream gravy and crispy hash brown potatoes. And the waitstaff will keep your cup full of decent coffee. You'll also find photos of classic Hollywood beauties in the men's room and hunky movie stars in the ladies. The breakfast counter is classic. There are no surprises here, and that's a good thing.More
Great local hangout with giant portions. We had a ham and avocado that was so filled that it had to be deconstructed to get into our mouth. The Rubin was outstanding.
Great little place with fantastic breakfast with huge portions. Great wait staff, fast and friendly. The best breakfast in town. Do not miss it
We love Joe's Place for breakfast and ate there every morning of our trip. They have a cinnamon roll that is large enough for 4 people that is great. They also have big homemade biscuits with sausage gravy. Their omelets are all very good as...their other egg dishes are excellent. Their hash brown's are enough for two and the pancakes are the best. Overall a great restaurant.More
WARNING: Was recommended to Joe's Place by a local winemaker and he was dead on correct. Place was full but the kitchen and service were fast and cordial. Breakfast was as good as it gets. Parking lot was also full so we found street parking...a couple of houses west of Joe's on the same side of 3rd street. Being respectful of any signs indicating residents only parking and not running over any landscape, we pulled up, backed in the public right-of-way with our 1,000 pound pickup load and proceeded into the Cafe. After pulling out to leave we discovered eight drywall screws had been placed where we would run over them. Joe's Place is a treasure but the neighbor(s) obviously do not like the overflow street parking and are ready to do damage and risk lives to prove it. BEWARE of off-street parking at Joe's Place in Paso Robles, CA.More
Excellent breakfast/brunch for the two of us. My eggs, thick sliced bacon, and biscuits with gravy were prepared 😋 perfectly. She noted that the tomatoes on her BLT were particularly flavorful. All this less than 150 ft from our the front door of our vacation...rental!More
Great breakfast place near center of town. Enjoyed our eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes. Menu also offers omelettes, Mexican breakfast specialties, French toast. Priced well for quantity and quality in a town with expensive restaurants.
We've had breakfast here a few times when we are in the area. The portions are very generous and filling.. will go again!
We ate there for breakfast. Loved all of the beautiful woodwork inside. The waitress was very nice, and spent time talking about the local wineries to go to. The food was wonderful and there was plenty of it. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict.
Outstanding food and service. Our waitress Karen was a shining light. There were 6 of us. We all ordered differently and the food was delicious. Served hot with good coffee too.
Breakfast here was awesome. The service was great and it did not take long to get seated on a Sunday morning. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy with the egg. It also contained a huge slice of sausage....I would highly recommend this restaurant.More
We are locals and eat at Joe’s for breakfast every once in a while. The food is always okay, but the coffee is always horrible. Cinnamon Roll is very good; also very expensive at $7.95! Chile Verde Omelette is pretty good; chorizo plate barely tastes...like chorizo mixed in with wet eggs - won’t order that again! All three local restaurants serve decent food but, again, if coffee is important to you - stay far away from Joe’s!More
