Popped in here on the off chance after visiting nearby garden centre. Very friendly service, great variety of breads and cakes. Our sandwiches were fresh and filling and came promptly. Perfect for us.

Went to this bakery to get a nice cake bought a walnut and coffee one tasted lovely very soft too. Would reccomend if you want cakes or pastry.
After finishing a section of the Offa’s Dyke path I was looking for somewhere to treat myself to tea and cake. Here there was a good choice of cakes, buns, scones etc to takeaway and eat in. I had an excellent carrot cake slice with...tea. Sally is very friendly and it’s a nice place to relax in.More
Just stopped for Coffee and cake Lovely friendly lady serving. Good choice of cakes and scones. Good service.
Panini was over priced at eaten in, served impalatable mix of small salads, coleslaw was fermenting, weird tasting pearl barley salad, which was horrid, plus poor ordinary salad which tasted very bitter. Expensive when only wanted panini which was charged around 3.50 to take out....We only wanted a panini not a salad and was told it only came with salad. I can understand a price difference for service, but not to the exaggerated amount here. Will not visit again. Expensive mistakeMore
Had some lunch here and it was excellent, good home cooked food really good quality and friendly staff, would recommend
I was in need of a gluten free, cream free dessert to take to my youngest sisters that evening, Sally's Pantry came up trumps with the most delicious Victoria sponge cake, the lady who served me was fantastic, made sure the filling had butter cream...not fresh (it was frozen, which suited me as it would be several hours till tea time). I bought Bakewell slices to take to my dad's which tasted amazing. Excellent place highly recommend a visit.More
We were looking for somewhere for refreshments after a long walk at 4.30. We saw Sally’s but thought we might be too late. But no. We were welcomed and had a lovely cup of tea. And we couldn’t resist the cakes. The apple and cinnamon...was wonderful.More
We get through a lot of bread and purchase it all from Sally's Pantry. They slice it thickly for us to make beautiful sandwiches. The only downside is I seem incapable of going and getting it without picking up another one of their delicious made...in-house treats! Service is great too. Thank you!More
Stopped by for some lunch. Sandwiches, panini’s and Jacket potatoes to take away priced around £3.50 to £3.80. Which I thought was very reasonable. Decided to eat in and knew would be a bit more expensive. Was charged £8.00 for just a panini served on...a plate with nothing else (no coleslaw or salad.) Extortionate prices, will not return.More
All our prices on the boards in the shop are clearly marked take away and the menus in the tea room list the eat in prices no one has ever been charged eight pounds for a panini alone without salad or coleslaw , I agree...More
Needed some where in our route and found this cafe and were delighted. Very friendly and VERY helpful service. Great food for snacks or something more substantial. And the cake selection left my mouth watering. Wish we could come back.
Stumbled upon this bakery last week and so glad we did , proper sausages, tasty bacon Not plates and one of the best marmalade I have tasted , so good We bought some to take To take home Can't wait to return
Many thanks hope you will return, it’s so nice to be noticed
We stopped here for lunch on the way back to Suffolk after weekend walking in Brecon Beacons- was the perfect end to our trip before facing the motorway! Lovely quiche and the best cakes too - rounded off with coffees. Service friendly. My partner had...been reluctant to try (wanted a pub) but I said that when a place is just out of town it has to have a good offering otherwise those sort of businesses don’t survive if get bad reputation. He wanted to take the chair home with him (large Tudor styled one) ....anyhow highly recommend for a light lunch!More
This place is a little hidden gem. They do basic meals (soups/paninis/salads) which are tasty but the most amazing food are the cakes which are everywhere on display. They do victoria sponge or lemon cakes plus others. They cost roughly £5 (prices may have risen)....They are worth every penny. The cakes are blooming delicious. Well done team!More
Sally organised and delivered 3cakes for us to our accommodation at The Barns. She also arranged a quiche and salad and breakfast for 10 of us. All the food was top notch and Sally and her husband were most helpful.
